Chapter One: The New Mission
*It’s been two years since the war. Naruto and the others have all gotten stronger.(except for Sakura. I dislike her) Tsunade has retired from being Hokage and the position was given to Kakashi, who has improved his Mangekyou skills and has even gotten better in chakra levels through extreme training. Naruto has become a Jonin and has increased his skills with Senjutsu. As for Sasuke, he’s spent the last two years just as Naruto has, training, becoming more proficient if Ninjutsu and waiting the for the day when he exacts his revenge and has his destined battle with Naruto…*
Naruto was standing in the area he had fought Pain. This was an area that were left un-built in Konoha, called the Great Ruins.
Voice: Naruto!
Naruto turned and saw Sakura and Sai.
Sai: Kakashi has called us in for a mission.
Naruto: ‘Bout time, been ages since we had the last one.
Naruto, Sai and Sakura went into the Hokage room and saw Kakashi standing near the window.
Naruto: So whats the mission?
Kakashi: As you know, we’ve been hunting for Kabuto. Some leads say he has been trying to revive the Sound Village.
Sai: that was originally run by Orochimaru, was it not?
Kakashi: Yes. But following his sudden disappearance from the world, it’s not very surprising Kabuto is trying to fill in for him. As intel suggests, Kabuto was the one who summoned and controlled the Edo Tensei. Your mission is simple. There have been reports of strange occurrences happening around the Land of Fire border. You three and another team will go and investigate.
Naruto: When do we leave? Who’s the other team?
Kakashi: The other team consists of Hinata, Shino and Kiba.
At that moment, Shikamaru entered the room with some sheets of paper.
Shikamaru: Hey Kakashi. Oh, hey guys.
Kakashi: What’s up?
Shikamaru: Dad is still sick. We gave him some of our medicine and he should up by tomorrow, in the meantime he asked me to deliver this paperwork.
Kakashi took them.
Kakashi: More intel?
Shikamaru: Yeah. More weird stuff happening at the border.
Kakashi: Now that I think about it, Shikamaru, join Naruto, Sai and Sakura on their mission. You’ve seen some of the intel we’ve got, you’re intelligence might come in handy.
Shikamaru: Sounds like a lot of work, but okay.
Kakashi: Good. Feel free to leave as soon as you have your supplies.
Naruto went home and put on his clothes, which were different. He wore the same orange pants put his upper wear changed, consisting of the same style jacket but with a different color scheme. The jacket was almost all black except for a pattern of orange on his sleeve that resembles his Kyuubi Form.
Naruto grabbed up a bag filled with his necessities and head off from his apartment. He met up with the others at the village gate.
Shikamaru: Okay, everyone ready?
Naruto: Yeah!
The four ninja leapt off.
Meanwhile, far away, Sasuke and Kyo were walking through a town.
Kyo: Why the hell are you waiting so long to attack?
Sasuke: You see there’s this certain ninja who I know will get involved, and I need to make sure I’m ready to face him.
Kyo: Oh.
Suddenly, a large snake came down in front of them. People in the street ran into nearby buildings.
Kyo: Who the hell is this?
Sasuke: (Orochimaru’s gone. Could it be…?)
Kabuto in the Takikage’s body appeared on its head in a puff of smoke.
Kabuto: Well, well. You are here after all.
Sasuke: (No, it’s not him… what the hell is with his chakra?) Who are you!
Kabuto: You truly don’t recognize me? Not a surprise since taking Oro’s cells and this new body would disguise my chakra.
Sasuke: That annoying speech pattern…
Kyo: You know this freak?
Sasuke: Yeah, his name’s Kabuto. What do you want?
Kabuto: You’re help. I want to revive the Hidden Sound and turn it into the Sixth Hidden Village.
Sasuke: What could you possible want with that? And how does it involve me?
Kabuto: My goal is to unlock the secrets in Ninjutsu. In order to that, I need to be able to work more openly. If I can get the Hidden Sound to be the Sixth Hidden Village, that’ll help with my goals. As for you, not only can I resurface some old powers in you, the Uchiha will not have to worry with Konoha, they can be reborn and be the Hidden Sound.
Sasuke :Resurface old power?
Suddenly, two snakes burst from the ground and tied Sasuke up. Then, Kabuto lunged towards him, landing near his neck in an instant. Kabuto’s ass snake then bit Sasuke’s neck.
Sasuke: Curse Mark…
Kabuto: You didn’t even try to resist..
Sasuke: Of course not. You gave me more power. I’ll forever be a Hawk, but extra abilities aren’t sp bad…
