sorry if someone already thought of this:
Tobi doesn't need to physically touch someone to suck them into his dimensions. We've already seen that proved.
It might have something to do with his Zetsu-like abilities.

He warped Torune and Fu without touching them. He warped himself without masturbating. He even warped his sexy boy toy Sasuke without touching him (although I'm sure he touched him after *wink wink nudge nudge*).

Anyone who still says tobi does not need to touch the person to teleport them is ignoring the facts.
Tobi says he needs to touch to do it. We saw tobi touch torune and warp him EVEN THOUGH he knew he was covered in parasitic bugs and he had to rip his own arm off.

Oh and another reason he does need to touch someone to warp them. Why did'nt he warp Kakashi here:
Kakashi was in range, and Tobi could have used one less opponent to deal with.

When I read this during the manga it occured to me that he might only be able to use the human path with that hand. I didn't see it if anybody already posted this but is it possible for Tobi to only do rinnegan techniques with half his body? Until now I wondered about the drawbacks of only having one rinnegan eye, so this would provide some explanation- it wouldn't make sense if he had the same power as someone with two rinnegan eyes.
