Possibly, but he's trying to complete moon's eye plan asap. If he killed Naruto, it would be awhile before he could even revive the nine tails. So I kinda doubt it. But it sucks we have to wait a week to find out =/

This is what it seems like so far! I want another realistic opinion though because I'm sure it's not as simple as this

If you remember Kabuto was planning to kill them with Nagato using the Human Path. He was then going take their bodies and souls, and revive them using the Naraka path. It's a possibility that Tobi was planning on doing the same thing.

Maybe? But like in my previous post, I doubt this. Tobi wants to complete moon's eye plan asap, so I don't think he would go through all that trouble to waste time

1. Take Naruto to another dimension and held him captive.

2. Used a path to extract his chakra.

3. Used a the path Pein used on Shisune when he was gaining intel and extracted Naruto's soul in order only to later on resurrect him for extraction (as Kabuto intended).

To answer the question about why he has to touch him to teleport him. If you remember Tobi's fight with Minato... He tried several times to lay a hand on Minato in order to teleport him. I think he needs to have physical contact to move others.

Yeah these have all been said, but I agree with your #1 the most. I think he wants Naruto and him alone for some reason that we will possibly find out next week

thats what i was thinking, he was about to take out the kyuubi. when he went to take out kushina's fox (i could be wrong) but i think he did a similar movement, but that jutsu sounded awesome!

He has the ability to use the same path moves nagato used! He can suck your soul out then revive you later like kabuto planned on doing with nagato. THAT IS THE ANSWER!
