Welllll... Kumi is kind of like currency, though you really dont need it for anything unless you want to pay people to make signatures/avatars.... but a lot of people do it for free, and do a dam good job at it!!!

basically 99.99999% of questions can be answered in things called 'stickies' that are found throughout the forums..... Also I found this very useful as a beginner trying to figure out how to RP battle
