Blackberry damaged need help

Dont know if this is the right place
but my black berry got wet through means i do not want to discuss and The power comes on right but the screen is blank
so what happened

should i go get a new one or not
through my Rogers wireless plan ..............

This is most definitely NOT the way to ask for help. Dont resort to asking the internet about tech support. Simply take your phone in too a store where a trained technician can help you out.

Ok just get a new phone.. even if the screen is the only thing that got damage. The water problaly damage something else you never know...

If recently wet...Have you dried it out yet?

Completley dissaembled it and laid it is a source of warm(not hot) continuosly circulcating air.

Have you changed out batteries? Tried your battery in another phone and visa versa?

Remember most warranties dont cover water damage.

If you are trying to get a cheap fix take it to an electronics store(not cell phone retailer), like a family owned radio shack, and asked them if there is anything they can do. Sometimes they have hidden skills.

Follow this. Try and disassemble (within reason) the parts of your phone, let it out to dry, do not mess with it. Let it dry for a while. Then put it back together, and try again. Most people jostle it around and don't let it dry, and then it just gets ****ed up when it could've been saved.
