Right, now i've thought of this for some time now. My suggestion is to make a thread in the RP section for requests and another for announcements.
The one for requests is basically to avoid getting the staff members profiles filled with VMs (which eventually bury themselves out of the sight of the staff member). For example, i want permission to learn Kinjutsu. I post my request in the thread with a given format (like username, rank, bios, etc) and wait. Same for, for example, bios that require mods permission, etc etc. This way members and staff could keep track of each request and simple decline or accept. It would be only for permission-like requests (bios, special training, etc).
The announcement thread would be a thread were the staff would announcement RP updates like when they add bio rules or jutsu to the jutsu list or when some rule is changed, etc etc. They would post something like "~Bio rules updated for Uchiha Itachi and Uzumaki Nagato~" or "~New jutsu added in Katon, Raiton, Fuuton~" or "~Update to the AACT thread in Ninjutsu, Katon and Raiton~". Nothing very detailed, only a notification of were things were updated. Sometimes, because posts are simply edited, unless you read everything you won't find it. In bio rules, its easier because when a new bio is added, if you subscribed the forum, you'll notice it. But with edits and upgrades to given threads or posts its not that easy.
Both these suggestions come with the objective of limiting the reasons why people VM the staff about RP stuff and to make both sides lives easier.
