She can't kill hidan, you have to cut his head off.. she just punches hard....and hidan can take pain...Kakuzu blasted him with giant jutsu combinations and he didn't complain....and what will she do to defend against his giant scythe? she will get scratched and die >.>

Shikamaru is one of the few people who can come up with a plan like that. He's got intellect. He set up that entire scene before the battle even began.
