not to be offenseive but the main story dosnt focuS on that cuz its not what naruto is about and that fact that u want more emphasis on that is like trying to to naruto into a soap opra wich is feminine

lolwut xd

Naruto puts plenty of emphasis on this stuff.

In case you forgot, Hinata's feelings played a huge role in Pain's Invasion and the Chunin Exams Arc :p

Without that, Naruto might have lost to both Neji, and Pain.

Romance =/= Feminine, or soap opera, or whatever xd Especially when it actually gets the plot moving.

1. I was wrong, there is emphasis.
2. Romance doesn't necessarily mean feminine, in fact, romance derives from the Romantics which were poets that were led purely by passion and emotion. They wrote about ANY emotion, not just affection. If you think about it, Naruto is definitely a romantic character. He has all the characteristics: led by emotions, emphasis on one-self, desired to be recognized and such.
Conclusion: Romance =/= Femenine
3. This isn't even romance, it's more of like..superficial affection or something...
