Did The Deva Path Really Beat Kakashi?

A lot of people say he beat Kakashi, but technically speaking he didn't. He could of possibly won but plot no jutsu prevented that.Can we agree he died of chakra exhaustion saving Choji's fatass?

He was already exhausted from using chidori's etc, then he used like two consecutive kamui's(One on the nail, other on missile to let chouji escape) and It killed him , He died of chakra exhaustion , Having 0 chakra kills you
