I saw Naruto first, then my friend recommended OP to me, I didn't want to watch it because I thought that Naruto was the best anime, but when I did watch it, I don't regret it at all,

I totally prefer OP over Naruto now, I mean, I've had so many laughs and cried so many times watching OP, than watching 2 Ninjas trying to Kill/save or whatever each other.

LOL we almost have the same story hahaha except I saw couple episodes of 4 kids version of one piece first which put a bad taste in my mouth for One piece.

one piece suck no OFFENSE

That's the most baseless statement I've ever seen.

Here's my list of the top 3 most baseless statements I've seen:
1: One Piece sucks
2: Osama Bin Laden was a good guy
3: Naruto is better than One Piece

Also, to answer the creator of the thread: Watched Naruto first, then years later started watching One Piece.

Also, people that haven't seen all of both series shouldn't be voting or participating in this thread.

Every single one of the 10 that voted that they watched Naruto first and prefer it haven't watched One Piece or only watched a small fraction.

I started Naruto first and then I wanted to try OP out but I thought it s*cked, however I kept seeing how popular OP was so I bit through the first few episodes and now I'm addicted to it. :|

well i hope not LOL. im one of those people who voted the 1st option and before you bite my head off, i started naruto then one piece a while after, as much as i love one piece; naruto is my favourite anime of all time and its gonna be like that from the day i die(extreme i know). i can sit here and give reasons why i have such an opinion but too many factors to take into consideration. but ive gotta say, narutotards that hate one piece are one the most silly fans ever, although naruto is the technical and deep manga that requires a good brain to follow it, very few people can justify that naruto>one piece , thats why i dont bother trying to argue which is better because at the end of the day, they both have different flavours and some people have natural preference to one over the other.

Technically I started OP at 2001. I was turned off by the art. I started Naruto at 2002 and liked it first. Liked it more by 2006, during the timeskip, but I was slowly disliking the series. I picked up One Piece again at 2005, and liked it more when I caught up at 2008.

So, One Piece.

Naruto first, since I thought One Piece looked bad and childish, so it's one of the latest animes I started watching but it's my fav now, anyone saying it sucks probably never reached episode 20, that's where it gets good.

*sigh* U_U if you insist...
well i think i was wrong to say "you need a good brain to follow it"
But...we have had alot of mysteries and technical facts from kishi right. well the first one i can say is; we first knew the hokage died...but how all that happened in detail was a mystery , and then kishi explained it, he not only cleared the air but sprung some more facts in the equation (kushina being jinchuriki, minato sealing half of the kyuubi in death god, knowing tobi was genually behind the plan that day etc) <- to me thats technical and "deep" .

another example can be the identity of tobi , first introduced as a nobody, then he had screen time and re-introduced as madara(the main villain) , any normal story righte/manga artist will end it there; but not kishi...bam hes probably not madara and hardcore speculations begin up in this forum, the dumb kids will go with tobi=obito and the others will actually play around with facts, foreshadows and hints. now thats why i think naruto is for someone who wants a deep and technical manga, well in the first part of naruto it had almost the same vibe as one piece but it flipped in shippuden, people would dislike shippuden but i actually LOVE it, i liked naruto because we wer still getting to know alot of new things, but shippuden is us knowing where all the characters we already know grow into something more important and thats when everything gets serious , and i wonder if thats ever gonna happen with one piece because at the moment its jokes all round

Its evident now that you're nowhere near caught up with OP like you are with Naruto.
You should stop.

in all honesty i did, but i never re-watched anything like i did with naruto, i guess it comes natural with things that i have lesser interest for - not noticing the small things. but im not the type to miss important things so whatever mysteries i missed must be small or have been pushed aside and kept in the dark for a long time and therefore forgotten all about them.

I prefer One Piece. I started with Naruto, and I still love the series, but currently it's sort of... there. I prefer watching/reading One Piece and other animes (Fairy Tail, HOTD, etc) before Naruto, I just don't like where it's going right now. I'm not saying one's better than the other, but I prefer watching OP over Naruto. Just my opinion.

Ok, not counting the Will Of D... contains spoilers if you're not at least in Marineford, though:

-Poneglyphs and Void Century
-Is Bon Clay alive?
-Who are the new shichibukai?
-Why did Kuma become a slave of the government and a pacifista if he was a revolutionary?
-Dragon's backstory, why did he abandon Luffy to Garp? How did he abandon him?
-Where is Arlong? What was his deal with Kizaru?
-Who is the fourth Yonkou?
-What happened to Bonney after being captured? Why did she yell at Akainu 'I won't go back to you!'? What is her story with the WG?
-Why did X-Drake go after Kaido?
-What did Robin do this two years? Did she meet Dragon? What did she learn from the RA?
-Did Capone, Apoo, and the other supernovas survive in the New World?
-Is Sabo alive? Is he with the RA?
-Does the All Blue exist?

Oh, and in case you have missed this obviously difficult-to-catch-mystery... WHAT IS THE ONE PIECE AND WHERE IS IT?? :flaw:
