the easiest way to make the sigs better is to make more people try and climb at the same time
it's the only way

I suggested a gfx battle thing sometime ago, but it was rejected or whatever. You Idea is quite similar, I like it. But yet you need improve it a bit. I suggest you to provide same stock/render to both, the previous king and challenger. It would more easy to judge.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I like this idea quite a fair bit, but being the GFX community as it is I don't think the pace could handle such a limitation. I would love the idea, but I think just going with a theme for now is the way to go.

how will the theme thing work ?
if the king can't change his submission and the new climber is going to use the same theme as the king
let's say the next theme is "war:
think will have a war sig set , will the new challenger have new theme , which will be different from the king "which is against the point of having a theme"
or will he use the same them as the king "which means the theme will never change"
the only way this can work is if the king has to change his submission sig , or that more people will climb at the same time , and the new theme only applies for them

providing a Stock/Render to work on is a great idea
with that u solve the problem of voting for your favorite character...i think...xd
or at least a theme cause the sigs look too random this way
and no i don't think this would be too hard

stock or theme , either way the next time when we already have a king that used the previous them , he will have to change his submission , for when he is to compete against the new sig that is using the new theme

I'm going to ask the two current people if they wouldn't mind a restart for this with these little improvements and choose a hill overlord using them. In the mean time, I'll let you folk decide on a theme for this.

If we have a theme, it will have to be about a certain character, so it removes the judging about character and stuff. Either that or we do a set stock/render contest.

Anyway I've gotten confirmation from both contestants and they're cool with a restart, so we gotta decide on a theme first.
