A young man, about 18, was walking around a college campus. On his way to his dorm, he felt the wind blow around him. He turned and saw a man walking too. He called out to the man.
Kid: Hey, Mr. Tekko!
The man, Tekko turned as well. Tekko worked in the school’s little café where he sold food and other supplies.
Tekko: Hello, Kirin!
Tekko waved and Kirin, the student, waved back.
Kirin kept on walking. Kirin was a tall young man with black spiky hair. He wore a red shirt and jeans most of the time with a black jacket with a sliver coloring on the inside. Kirin was a student at Suta University where he attended with his younger sister and friends. As he walked on, he felt as if something was staring at him. He looked over his shoulder and saw a figure looking at him.
Kirin: Hey! Who the hell are you?
The figure ducked backwards but Kirin started to follow it. As he turned the corner, he saw Tekko holding a monster that was black as night.
Kirin: *gasps* (What the hell is that?!)
Then, to Kirin’s shock, Tekko disappeared and the monster did too.
The next day, Kirin ran to the café and confronted Tekko.
Tekko: Hey Kirin! A little early for you, I didn’t make your favorite breakfast yet..
Kirin: I saw you last night, with that “thing” whatever it was! What the hell is going on?!
Tekko: What do you me-?
Kirin: Cut the crap! It was like some kind of monster or something, and you two just vanished!
Tekko grew serious and looked around.
Tekko: Come with me.
Tekko led Kirin to a back room and he closed the café.
Tekko: You’ve discovered my secret…
Kirin: What secret?!
Tekko: You see, I’m a member of a small group of people, well not people per se, that deals with special cases.
Kirin: What?
Tekko: You see, thousands of years ago, they were seven astral beings, each possessing something different.
Kirin: What are you talking ‘bout?
Tekko: Every living thing has a special force in them called Chikara. This force gave birth to a new realm, a realm where there are hundreds of astral beings. Each of these beings can do something regular humans cant do, they can use this force to do special tricks. There were seven in particular. They are seven in particular that existed centuries ago. They each had to ability to utilize and create lightning, steel, earth, fire, wind, water and explosions. These seven beings were the strongest of the Astrals. After a while, they began to have separate ideals, and they spilt. The Wind, Lightning and Steel Astrals seeked justice and peace, but the Fire, Explosion and Water Astrals wanted destruction and tyranny over their realm and the physical realm.
Kirin: What about the Earth Astral?
Tekko: He remained neutral, never chose a side and vanished. If all the Astrals are dead at any given time, their powers are bestowed in the Chikara of seven humans so they can become Astrals as well and continue the war.
Kirin: War?
Tekko: Yes. Those six Astrals are always at war since they can never die out. The humans might not have the same personality as the Astrals before them, or the original Astrals, but once the power was reincarnated, they get the hate.
Kirin: That sounds like a lot of pressure…
Tekko: And its now your pressure.
Kirin: What?!
Tekko: The fact that you could still see me while I was using my Chikara proves you can be an Astral and if a human becomes an Astral, he is going to be one of the Seven Legendary Astrals.
Kirin: No way. I cant be an Astral!
Tekko: Then tell me, why are you so quick to believe me?
Kirin gasped.
Kirin: Well, its cuz I saw you, I saw that thing, there’s no doubt it exists…
Tekko: No, it’s because you have the Chikara in you, telling you that it’s true.
Kirin: So what now?
ekko: First, I’m going to teach you how to use Chikara as an outside pressure, that’s Level 1. Then, we’ll find out what force you have, then we’ll train so you’ll control it. That’s Level 2. And Level 3 is the most dangerous. To take your Chikara and create an Astral body for yourself so you can survive in the Astral realm.
Kirin: What about my regular body.
Tekko grew serious.
Tekko: Your regular, physical, human body can’t withstand the pressure of the Astral realm, you’ll die before you even make it all the way to the Astral realm.
Kirin nodded and folded his arms.
Kirin: Okay, I’ll do it.
Tekko got back to his cheery nature.
Tekko: Ok, we’ll start tomorrow!
