In the beginning it was fun, what with the crew getting together after two years and journeying to the depths of sea, punching a kraken! but now it has gone on long enough! I loved the latest chapter with all the straw hats showing off their new skills, but mainly I am hoping its nearing the end! the whole deal with hody, Otohime, Arlong, Neptune, is very exhausting and hard to sympathize with. Just let the straw hats loose in the new world already!

I completely agree with you and the last statement took me by surprise but I liked it! lol Not to mention the break that Oda took. This arc has dragged on for so long and reminds me of the Hueco Mundo arc. Also in my opinion, Oda failed with many of the Gyojin, Ningyo and villain's artwork. I would have loved to see the best he could produce seeing as his illustrations are not topnotch. I did not like the battle pairings especially Sanji/Jimbei as either one or the other singly would have been more than enough for that grotesque appearing blowfish. Sanji's turning into stone and almost "dying" by lack of blood was retarded and a waste of time. It does finally seem like we're nearing the end although it also still seems like the ending is just inching along -_-

Yeah i want the arc to end but just because I want to get to the New World & I am very interested to see what will be the 1st thing the Straw Hats do in the New World.
But this arc is almost finished all the bad guys have been defeated all that's left is Robin probably telling the Fishmen what that Poneglyph said. 4-5 more chapters & I think where done on Fishman Island.

Im liking this arc now, i started to feel like it dragged during the back story part but then i realised it was because i was anxious to see how the SH crew had gotten stronger during the 2years so i really wasnt wanting to read for background, but its wrapping up and we should be onto the new step soon enough, patience is a virtue my young friend

i have to agree im sorry i just dont find it that interesting but its ending soon and were moving onto the true fun my friend my prediction is we will see what everyone else is doing like supernovas shichibukai and even others

I think its fine as it shows their development even though Hodi and his crew are no match for them. O_O
I don't think the Fishman Island Arc is going to finish just yet. There's still the problem with Caribou kidnapping mermaids, Jinbe's farewell (or introduction) to the Straw Hats, maybe (and just my opinion) Big Mam coming to collect her monthly supply of candy and the sailing back to the surface though I don't think any of these would take long.
I like this arc, for a couple of reasons:
- It has been hyped since they left Water 7.
- It connected a whole bunch of storylines together
- The crew is back together (could've been on any other island)
- We've seen all sorts of islands, even sky islands now for the first time under water (second time for Zoro)
-The slavery and racism backstory is good.
- Still hoping for an Arlong appearance, or twist with Shirley.
- With all these fights ending and Luffy taking care of the Ark, I think Coribou will be a "Buggy" kind of enemy that is going to pop up every now and then. I don't see what role he is going to play in this arc anymore. I hope we see him in a few panels where he captured a ship and locked up some mermaids on it or something, heading to the new world.
Oh and dude:
