perhaps the sage was an uzumaki.. otherwise how did nagato obtained the rinnegan? he was an uzumaki.. he didnt have the uchiha or senju blood..oh what u going to counter my point by saying madara\tobi gave the rinnegan to him?? we dnt knw for sure how true is his claim.. if u asked me why mito, kushina and naruto didnt have the rinnegan in the first place, well let me ask u bck , did the uchiha immediately have the sharingan in the first place?? no.. it requires certain factor to unlock it eg; emotional factor, power levels, what triggers or stimulate rinnegan to evolve, etc.. the sage was using a sealing jutsu, chibaku tensei to seal the jubi.. maybe this explains why uzumaki was so specialized in sealing technique because they inherited the tecnique from the sage.. and if u notice the symbol of the uzumaki, its similar with rinnegan.. the spiral pattern...

Wrong, when the SO6P was alive their were no Senju nor Uchiha alive back then only the Clan of The SO6P and what can was that if their were No Senju nor Uchiha? The Uchiha are the descendants of the First Son the Senju are the descendants of the 2 son. Why combine 2 DNA Uchiha and Senju to get the Rinnegan if the Uzumaki are as you claim water down Senju? No, the water down are the Senju and Uchiha, who when you combine their DNA you are reverse engineering back to SO6P pure DNA Uzumaki plus the Uzumaki are seal experts, who is to say in order to keep the peace the Uzumaki sealed away the Rinnegan from themselves? Imagine a Clan full of Rinnegan users, who could stand up to them? Thats probably why they were attack and scattered to the 4 conners of the world to prevent them from un sealing the Rinnegan from themselves.

When you combine Senju and Uchiha DNA you no longer have 2 separate DNA you go back to the Original DNA of the SO6P a single DNA. And that could be Uzumaki DNA. The Uzumaki are the bridge that combine the 2 distant shores of the Senju and Uchiha blood lines that have separated themselves from the original blood line of the SO6P.
