Sasuke show his intelligent against
danzou (fool him from the start of the battle with genjutsu )
dediara (trick him with genjutsu and escape with oro snake summon)
itachi (Match up with him in weapon,taijutsu,ninjutsu ,break out of tsukiyomi,create kirin from itachi amaterasu and his own flame jutsu)

Sasuke is better than itachi with amaterasu (he can manipulate the flame with blaze release)
while itachi is better than sasuke with genjutsu /tsukuyomi (it more stronger than sasuke)

Sasuke better at amaterasu is not going to do shit to current naruto. Itachi better at tsuko now that a game breaker. See not soo hard to analyse is it?
Secondly itachi has better weapons than sasuke and he is smarter and calmer(always keeps his cool).
Lastly itachi only beat naruto with gen, not with ninjutsu or tai. Sasuke could have got naruto with gen but not anymore
when naruto fights sasuke they will both charge(idiots) with ninjutsu. Just see how ms itachi fought kakashi and see how ms sasuke fought him. One was a spamming lunatic and one almost didnt move. Itachi is just a bad match for naruto
