On to the next chapter.
The grand celebration had commenced. There were plenty of people who attended the grand celebration. Though none were aware that there were men who wanted to abduct the princess of Caloria.
Shun stood at the center of the ball, gaining the visitor’s attention. “Thank you all for your presence. This grand celebration is to celebrate the 10th year of our peaceful life in Caloria and the 1st year of our princess as the leader of Caloria. I present to you, princess Mira of Caloria.”
Everyone clapped their hands as Princess Mira walked towards Shun. Naruto, Shikamaru and Neji positioned themselves near Mira and gazed a crossed the sea of people, looking for anyone suspicious.
Mira wore a long white elegant gown with gems embedded on the lower part of the dress. Her hair was fixed with a white feathery pigtail. The princess looks so stunning. Everyone was delighted to see their princess.
“Thank you so much for coming. Let us all celebrate our peaceful lives in our village. I hope we’ll enjoy this grand event.” Mira smiled so lovingly and waved her right hand, earning a round of applause from her guests.
Not long after the celebration, four men who disguised themselves as guests jumped from nowhere and towards Mira. All Mira could do is to gaze at the man who were about to attack her. Neji was fast enough to intervene and use his 8 trigrams 64 palms and block the men who tried to get the princess. Though Neji was successful, the abductors begin to attack again.
Mira’s kidnappers were professional fighters. It was hard for Neji to fight by himself so Shikamaru used his shadow jutsu to stop the abductor’s movements. However he couldn’t stop the four of them all at once. Naruto used his shadow clone jutsu to fight the remaining men using his kunai. Shun grabbed his sword and joined in as well.
“Naruto, go now!” Shikamaru shouted at Naruto while he left his shadow clones behind to help fight.
“Yeah I know!” Naruto respond on Shikamaru and run toward the princess.
“Lets go, princess!” Mira was still shocked by the sudden commotion. The guests that were attending the party began to panic and attempted to rush out of the way, not wanting to get involved with the fight. Mira let Naruto grab her arm and run where Hinata was hiding, while watching the fight from behind, until it was no longer in sight.
Hinata was hiding in the nearest room from the ball. Using her byakugan she could easily notice the uproar in the celebration. “Naruto kun!” Hinata ran in the direction that was planned, dressed as Mira. Of course she wore a contact lens to hide her byakugan.
“Hinata, I’ll leave them to you!” Naruto turned his head to look at Hinata while he rushed towards the opposite direction, still keeping his grip firm on Mira.
Since people are panicking and the kidnappers were busy fighting Shikamaru and the others, Hinata makes her move to get near the commotion as planned so they can trick the enemy that she’s the princess.
Mira’s mind snapped back into reality as she stopped and forced herself free from Naruto’s hold. “Wait a minute, I have to take a break. My legs hurt from running.”
“We don’t have time for that princess! We’ll take a break once we can find a place where those men won’t see you!” Naruto urged as he reached for Mira’s wrist, pulling her along.
“No, I can’t run anymore!” Mira exclaimed stubbornly. She didn’t care what Naruto said to her. “If you want to run, then do it alone!”
“Are you nuts, I’m protecting you from them and you want me to leave you?” Naruto asked dumb founded. “If you want, I can carry you so you don’t have to run anymore.”
“I think you’re the one who’s nuts. Why would I let you carry me? Where’s Shun?” Mira shouted at Naruto. She felt insulted about Naruto’s offer.
“Don’t be such a brat. I thought you would cooperate. This is not the time for arguments!” Naruto shouted back irritably.
“We’ll have to wait for Shun. I’m sure he’s following us.” Mira said as she examined the halls for Shun.
Naruto couldn’t do anything. The princess might do something worst so he let Mira rest for a while and wait for Shun “We don’t even know where that right hand of yours is anyway. The last time I saw him, he was fighting with my companions.” Naruto said in an annoyed tone. Out of the four of them why did he have to get stuck with the princess? Of course he knew he was the captain but Shikamaru can protect the princess more effectively than him. /This is all Shikamaru’s fault!/
“Wait here, I’ll just take a look at the other side of the hallway to see if Shun is coming.” Mira convinced Naruto.
“Wait!” Naruto shouted.
“I won’t take long.” Mira shouted as she ran away from Naruto. /That fool, don’t ever think I’ll come back to you/ Mira smirked and run faster before Naruto could catch up. Since Mira live in the castle from the time she was born, she’s familiar to all the passages in the castle. Mira expects to see a room on her way and hid herself, trying to lose Naruto.
“Princess! Princess! That woman!” Naruto hollered angrily. Mira’s purpose was to trick him in the first place and of course it worked.
Meanwhile Hinata, Neji, Shikamaru, Shun and 2 of Naruto’s shadow clones were fighting the abductors of Mira’s.
It’s a tough fight even though they outnumbered the enemies. The kidnapper’s movement is so swift and they use combo attacks where Naruto’s shadow clones got easily beaten.
Two of the enemies’ were trapped on Shikamaru’s shadow jutsu but they find a way to free themselves from Shikamaru’s.
It was also included on the plan that Hinata can’t use her byakugan so the kidnappers won’t be suspicious. The enemies are professional fighters and far from what they expected and Hinata couldn’t help but to use her byakugan to protect herself. That was the time the kidnappers began to doubt that the girl they were trying to get wasn’t the woman they were after. Two of the abductors ran off in different directions from Neji, Shikamaru, Shun and Hinata.
“I think they found out that Hinata isn’t the princess.” Shikamaru’s eyes followed the two who tried to get away from them.
“I’ll follow them! I can use my byakugan.” Hinata volunteered to track one of the enemy while Neji followed the other one.
“I’ll follow the other!” Neji shouted as he ran after the other enemy.
“I didn’t expect this to be a tough fight!” Shikamaru gave an evil grin as the enemies prepared himself to use his shadow imitation jutsu. Shun positioned himself to fight along side Shikamaru.
Hinata easily trailed the enemy with her byakugan. She’s could almost catch up with the enemy when someone grabbed her in their arms and pulled her inside the room.
“P-Princess Mira? What are you doing here? Where’s Naruto kun?” Hinata asked out in surprise as she turned to see Princess Mira alone.
“Naruto and I got separated because he’s not good enough to protect me.” Mira inform Hinata.
Hinata couldn’t believe what Mira had just said as they stared at the other. Naruto isn’t the type to leave his job. Hinata is certain Naruto is looking for her. Even if Naruto and Mira were separated, she was relieved to see Mira safe and sound. “Don’t worry Princess Mira, let’s look for Naruto kun.” Hinata forget all about tracking the enemy since Mira’s safety is their priority.
Hinata and Mira ran off in search for Naruto. “Where did you last see Naruto kun?” Hinata asked Mira.
“I’m not sure where. Anyways, we should stop moving and wait until Shun or your other companions see us.” Mira requested to Hinata as she sat down, wanting to rest for a while.
“We can’t do that, the enemy knows that I’m not you. They’re looking for you in every corner of the castle!” Hinata informed Mira.
Hinata would have to defend the princess all by herself, knowing it was her duty to protect the princess as well. Using her byakugan, she scanned the area to see if she could locate the enemies.
Mira was stunned, to see the enemy surrounding them. The princess turned around just to see an iron rod-resting close by. Mira grabbed it and walked towards Hinata. She made sure Hinata had her back towards her as she swung the rod, hitting Hinata in the back of the head with it. Hinata fell on the floor, unconscious, as Mira smirked at Hinata while she still held onto the rod she used to hit the poor kunoichi. “I’m sure my abductors will be successful in kidnapping me.”
