It's not that hard to get rep. All you have to do is contribute information people find valuable. Or impress people with artwork or good writing in Fan Fictions. There are other ways of getting rep. I receive a lot of rep from wit.

Anyway, rep is kind of overrated. It doesn't really give you anything besides a big bar under your username.
