Not really. Sasori and Kakuzu not only have way more firepower, but also are a lot harder to kill. Their intelligence is comparable. All in all Akatsuki guys have clear advantage.

Basically, we have clash of two kage level guys with team of one kage level guy and highly skilled Jounin.

Katon + Fuuton combo is enough to break through it. And Sasori has whole power of 3rd Kazekage to his disposition (3rd was more powerful than 4th, and 4th was strong enough to defeat Shukaku). What can Water barricade jutsu do against Iron Sand?
