what's so special with wood release?..

.. not so many people can use it.. 1st hokage, Madara, Yamato, Zetsu.. that's what makes it special and you dont have to worry about where to sleep

Wood Release is one of the most controllable things to have besides sand. You actively deside where your move is attacking. If they dodge, your attack can slide over and hit them anyway. It isn't stationary, if you fire a blast of water. You can aim it. But controlling specifically where every single splash goes is impossible. But you can aim so carefully in Wood Release. Plus the fact unless you're in the air, you are always in danger. In short, mid, and long range.

i agree. unless you have byakugan it's insanely hard to dodge all the wood hitting you from all sides, tripping you up, it's a great offensive weapon, because it's living and very controllable.

plus you can also change the environment to suit your own techniques which gives you an extra advantage in batlle, and it can suppress tailed beasts.

Well as others said it is a perfect way to attack from all directions AND to block many attacks cuz you have alot of wood to use AND you can make clones (perhaps it doesnt require so much chackra as Kage Bunshin and who knows if those clones can *summon* wood out of land) AND you can stop bijuus with it, you can make them surrender at least for a while i guess...

besides making houses, clones and trees out of nowhere.. what is it's big effect during battles?.. and if someone other than Madara right now has wood release.. is it enough to defeat him?.. really.. what's so special with it?..
