This starts my crusade -_-
But seriously, lately on NarutoBase, I have gotten fed up with the stupid comments that are really negative towards people of a different sexuality. It is annoying, and this is my way of dealing with it. Before someone wisely chimes in with "And this will make them all stop how exactly?" Realize that this isn't the point. I don't aim to stop all the stupid people. That's like trying to stop water from spreading. Eventually the flow will be too much. The point here is, even though there won't be a widespread change, if at least 5 or 10 people stop, that's good enough.
First off: the thing I find so stupid to say is "That's gay" or other things to that extent. I really doubt an inanimate object is gay, so why not call it stupid. If it's stupid call it stupid. Plain and simple.
Second: The world is changing. And people have to change with it. Racism, sexism, and all the other -isms' are dying out. So change, or shut-up and deal with it.
Third: I don't even get the reasoning behind this one. But for some reason, a double standard exists [and honestly, it is one of the few double standards that exist that adversely affect men] that somehow being a lesbian is ok, but being gay isn't. Like somehow 2 girls kissing, people think "oh, that's hot." But if 2 guys kiss in public, they are labeled "***s" and they should burn in hell. **** that reasoning, because if you accept one group, you have to accept us all. And whether you accept us or not, we are here...
That pretty much concludes this thread.
Warning, to all you people who think homosexuality is an awful thing, and we are all evil, or doing some unexplainable harm to the world, stfu, and **** off. If you are coming here just to post the fact that you don't approve, I approve of you being fedexed back to London during the 16th century and hope you contract the plague. Have a nice day
