I dont get Lee?

I'm not sure if it's just that im not accustomed to japanese anime, but I dont get lee's character. I mean he is like an a.d.d. nutcase that would like nothing more than to be a guy clone. I mean come on this has to be an unhealthy relationship with a teacher if ever I saw one.

Dont get me wrong i'm not hating on lee (well kinda in a sense), obviously he is strong especially since he only has taijutsu (if he sucked he would have died ages ago). I just think he is a very odd character personality wise.

What do you reckon NB?

In my opinion, he is simply a lame idiot. I think that one cannot qualify to be an ninja without knowing a few nin jutsu.
Rock lee failed at that and he can't even use academy rank nin jutsu.
I think he kinda failed as a ninjaxd

There is a limit to the abilities of tai jutsu
For starters , you can't tai jutsu your way out of a whole forest, unlike naruto who used 'great rasengan ' to destroy the whole thing

Yea that's true but doesn't get old seeing them spamming the same jutsus over and over again? Wouldn't you like to see some more hand to hand combat for a while?

I dont know Lee spams leaf whirlwind variants all the time, which for the life of me I cant tell apart

Lee spams 'leaf wirlwind" and "hidden lotus " all the time .

Lee is pretty cool. When he opens the chakra gates and takes his weights off it usually means a pretty good fight scene is coming up. In my opinion which of coarse is subjective so no hatin' x
