No, It was 8 tails, Not fully taken over Naruto, and Minato cearly stated that once the 9 tails began to appear, His chakra clone appeared and stopped the attempt to take over Naruto, that's the reason that Minato sealed some of His chakra in Naruto in the first place, that if the Kyuubi's hate manages to overcome Naruto, He would appear
