Speed:
DB3 likens Sasuke's speed to be "godlike". The manga clearly demonstrates on multiple occasions that Sasuke is now one the fastest sprinters in the manga:

How fast is Sasuke? Based upon what we've seen, we can place Sasuke in the same tier as Maito Gai.

Stamina:

Back in Part I, Sasuke's stamina was an issue which was routinely brought up, such as the Gaara fight. In Part II, however, that is no longer a problem as evidenced in the fights with Deidara and Itachi. Sasuke has shown impressive endurance because of his capability to spit out technique after technique and keep on going strong.

Intelligence:

Sasuke has shown impressive intelligence throughout Part II. He has shown the ability to plan ahead and strike when the opportunity is ripe. This is evidenced by Sasuke waiting until Oro is at his weakest before he attempted to assassinate him.

Tactics-wise, Sasuke has demonstrated the ability to make initial strategies based upon observations and works on it throughout the engagement. This is especially evident during the fight with Deidara when Sasuke observed how a few of Deidara's mines went off while others did not. We even see Sasuke utilize a spontaneous strategy when Sasuke used Oral Rebirth to outwit Itachi's Amaterasu.

Lastly, Sasuke possesses a high-calibre mindset for a ninja. He is often cold and focused. The only thing he dwells on in combat is how to achieve the fastest and most efficient road to victory. Even if he makes his mission to not kill the enemy, he will keep that goal obsessively. Thus, he possesses a mindset that is ideal for a solider. Also, Sasuke possesses at least skilled levels of leadership ability because of his ability to put together, control, and lead a team of dysfunctional sociopaths that composed "Taka".

Genjutsu:

The following scans demonstrate a high-level prowess in Genjutsu:

- Scan #1: Sasuke can produce genjutsus which can easily cripple powerful individuals such as Sai, who, according to Danzou, is (was) the strongest shinobi of his generation in Konoha (Sai > Neji).
- Scan #2: Like Itachi, Sasuke too has demonstrated the abililty to trick opponents via Genjutsu.
- Scan #3: Can break out of Tsukiyomi, the strongest genjutsu.

Taijutsu:

We can assess Sasuke's prowess in Taijutsu via the following scans:

- Scan #1: Sasuke's mastery over kenjutsu makes him a deadly opponent in close-range combat.
- Scan #2: Sasuke demonstrates his prowess by equalling Itachi in shuriken-tossing, who is known to be exceptionally skilled in weaponry. The seals on Sasuke's arms enables him to spam large numbers in lightning intervals.
- Scan #3: As Zetsu comments, Sasuke's usage of shurikens is quite advanced. He can easily combo multiple shurikens together in one attack.

Add in additional traits such as proficient hand-to-hand combat (it's a reasonable assumption based upon what Sasuke could do in Part I), strings he uses to manipulate his weapons, enhancing his weapons with Chidori, etc., Sasuke is, no doubt, one of the most proficient weapon-users in the manga, easily surpassing even an individual who specializes in the field (Tenten).

Ninjutsu:

Perhaps Sasuke's most startling improvements are housed within this field. The most obvious improvement would be Sasuke's advancements in Chidori:

Chidori + variations give Sasuke a variety of means to attack and/or defend whether it be close-, mid-, long-range combat. Sasuke not only achieved the difficult task of molding elemental chakra, but the elemental manipulation is above mastery level, as even Orochimaru was amazed by something on the level of the Chidori sword. This notion is further reinforced as evidenced with Kirin:

Unavoidable? Elemental recomposition beyond what is normally possible? Exceptionally destructive? Kirin is the most powerful Raiton we've seen in the series. Sasuke certainly lives up to his nickname "Raijin", God of Thunder.

Also, consider the following:

- Kuchiyose: Between Manda and regular snakes, Sasuke is certainly skilled with this technique.
- Katons: He blew massive fireballs at Itachi, and even beat Itachi via using CS1 to augment his power.
- CS: Sasuke may have lost the CS, but before he did, he displayed great skill in utilizing his power-up to such a degree even Juugo praised him for it. We've seen Sasuke use CS2's wings to block Juugo's powerful strikes and block Itachi's fireballs.
- Senei Ta-Jashu: One of Oro's main techs, Sasuke can use it too. He's used it for intimidation, tree-swinging, and blocking attacks. On several occasions this jutsu is proved to be useful.

Review:

Sasuke is the closest thing to a "perfect ninja" out of all the active characters in this series. He's literally has achieved high or mastery level in every form of combat presented, whether it be Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, or Taijutsu. Furthermore, Sasuke's intelligence, stamina, speed, etc. make him practically unstoppable, save Sasuke facing off against some of the strongest characters in the series.

Sasuke's Current Level:

Sasuke has been shown to be possess a well-rounded base. So, how strong is he? Is Sasuke stronger than Kakashi? Yes. Why? Sasuke > Kakashi became evident when Sasuke manhandled Sai and Yamato. Is Sasuke stronger than Orochimaru? Yes. Why? The following scans demonstrate why:

We see Sasuke use the same binding genjutsu that the "stronger" Itachi used on Oro nearly a decade ago. The purpose of the flashback is to showcase Sasuke's eyes reaching a level comparable to what Itachi possessed when he defeateed Oro.

But wait! Didnt' Sasuke admit he won solely because Oro was weak? Uh... No.

Karin: Why were you injured against this opponent? You beat Orochimaru!
Sasuke: Oro was weakened.

In other words: Oro was weakened, therefore Sasuke wasn't injured against him. Sasuke doesn't say he wouldn't have defeated a prime Oro.

Is Sasuke stronger than Itachi? It's true Itachi > Sasuke during the canon fight; Madara states Sasuke would be dead right now if Itachi had been serious. Thus, we're presented with the following question: Why was Itachi stronger than Sasuke?

It's because Itachi possessed the MS while Sasuke did not. Itachi told Sasuke that he wouldn't stand a chance against him without the MS:

Databook even elaborates how "only another Uchiha possessing the same power can defeat Mangekyou Sharingan". In other words, in order to directly confront and defeat the MS, you need another Uchiha with MS.

Itachi, however, was kind enough to state that Sasuke had become very powerful:

Keep in mind as well that Itachi was only able to survive Kirin because he possessed Susano-O.

Sasuke now possesses the MS:

Furthermore, with the past few chapters, we've seen two out of three MS techs Sasuke now has:

Sasuke has a genjutsu comparable to Tsukuyomi and can utilize Amaterasu in combat as well.

The only, and only, advantage Itachi had over Sasuke is now gone, which means Sasuke is stronger than Itachi, though the gap between the two isn't great.

But wait! Wasn't Itachi sick? Yes, but it'd be a matter similar to Kimimaro. Itachi used his main techs against Sasuke, the problem was that his body broke down when he went beyond his limits. The backlash of the MS is what did Itachi in. When Itachi activated and utilized Susano-O, he did so when he was practically out of chakra.

But wait! Wasn't Sasuke completely helpless against Susano-O? Yes, but I've already proven that Sasuke has closed the gap between him and his brother. Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu won't work against Sasuke. Furthermore, we still haven't seen Sasuke's final MS attack, which appears to be some sort of jutsu negation considering how he put out those Amaterasu flames. Lastly, keep in mind Itachi can't maintain Susano-O forever. It devours the user's lifespan when active and causes immense internal damage to the user whenever Susano-O seals something.

But wait! Wasn't Itachi weakened from sharing his power with Naruto? No. It was a Kage Bunshin that implanted something within Naruto, similar to what Itachi did to Sasuke when he implanted Amaterasu in his left-eye. During the canon fight, Itachi used the MS on four separate occasions in addition to using KB, katons, and genjutsu. He started the fight at 100%.

We saw Itachi's "full-power". The problem is that he couldn't maintain it. The real issue here appears to be people placing Itachi on some "untouchable throne", yet deny Sasuke despite what he has shown in the manga. So, I'll go ahead and address the core issue here.

Spoiler: A Quick Analysis of Itachi

Conclusion:

Sasuke is one of the most well-rounded individuals in the series. He's intelligent, fast, enduring, and possesses a wide array of versatile jutsu. He certainly lives up to the Uchiha name. In terms of power, he has surpassed Kakashi, Orochimaru, and now Itachi with Sasuke's recent acquisition of the MS. The only active characters who can currently compete with Sasuke are Pein and Madara (as well as Naruto in due time).

It would probably help if people came to accept the fact that Itachi wasn't all that great. Yes, extremely strong. Yes, one of the strongest active characters. But actually up there with the strongest period? No.

Your typical Akatsuki member is jounin-level in speed, taijutsu, stamina, etc. Afterwards, you give them a speciality at which they are the best in the world. Deidara is the ultimate bomber, Sasori is the ultimate puppeteer, Hidan is the ultimate taijutsu specialist, etc. etc. Thus, almost any Akatsuki member can defeat someone like Kakashi and not lose, even without relying on their speciality. Hidan, for example, while slow on offence was able to dodge the attacks of Asuma and Shikamaru at the same time.

Itachi, no doubt, is the best we've seen at Genjutsu. Even without the Sharingan he's capable of high-level Genjutsus, and with it he becomes an illusionary juggernaut. On top of that he has Tsukuyomi, the most powerful Genjutsu, with which can beat almost any enemy just by looking them in the eyes. Thus, we can conclude Itachi is a genjutsu specialist. Itachi's specialty makes him a difficult opponent, but it also distorts his strength, causing people to believe he's unbeatable.

Probably the number one misleading feature about Itachi is the fact he's beaten opponents without moving. This makes him look uber, impressive, and all that jazz. The problem though is such feats (Orochimaru) cause his actual level to be distorted. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve the wins he received, I'm just simply pointing out that it makes the difference between him and his enemies look much larger than it might actually have been.

Now, let's take a character who can get around Itachi's speciality with little difficulty, like Sasuke. As we saw in the canon fight, you still get a strong character, just not one that appears invicible anymore. Remember, genjutsus aren't invincible. Zabuza got around Kakashi's genjutsus one way, Gai did it another, Kakashi even got around Itachi's, Deidara beat Sasuke's genjutsu, and even Naruto has worked out the basics of his own method. Once a counter is established, they stop being invincible and go down to merely being fearsome.

Itachi also has Amaterasu and Susano-O, but it doesn't mean Itachi's additional abilities are god-like. Sasuke tied with Itachi in a shuriken-tossing contest, anted Itachi after he used KB, and even had Itachi on the edge when he blew fireballs at him. Sasuke was able to apply pressure against Itachi, forcing him to resort to Amaterasu and even Susano-O in order to gain the advantage.

I'm not stating Itachi is pathetic, but it's important to look at his abilities in a realistic scope. Itachi seemed pathetic in the canon fight because people bought into his hype. He’s had easy victories against opponents and it’s distorted his actual level. The times that people have gotten past his genjutsus, he’s never quite seemed to match up to the hype, but his easy victories have been so prominent that they’re hard to forget and hard to see through.

Itachi isn't pathetic, and while he's pretty damn high on the rankings, he isn't one of the strongest period.
hey! uchiha macho! China called, they want their wall back U_U

your getting heated over a discussion. calm down. in the fight with danzo karin was there to give him pointers. as for the fight with diedara. he still did not defeat him. diedara blew himself up. :T however sasuke was impressive in that fight.

Look, I'm only heated here because you were putting on a calm act in the "Sasuke is Weak" thread where you were bashing him less and giving him a little more credit. But now, you're going on about things already covered in that thread.

Example: The Deidara battle. HE defeated Deidara. Whoever believes so otherwise has to be technically slow. If you want proof, simple inquire. I'll be glad to bring up facts from the previous thread that I went over this with.

Another is the Danzo battle, Karin giving him a few (which was really less than a few. more like a tidbit, which I'll say again. just going along with what you said) pointers had nothing to do with Sasuke's brilliant move of utilizing his limited version of Tsukuyomi. Likewise, if you don't believe this I'll be glad to compile a list of reference facts and/or a coherent explanation accompanied with reasonable logic as to how this is so.

Again, I'm only heated up because you're trying to get over on the morons of this thread with pure BS. You know what you just said was BS and if you deny this, I'll truly lose the little respect I do have for you and disown you as a Naruto fan with an actual brain.

I'm sorry. It's something I've been working on. Naturally, I'm a hostile person and I realize this. It'd help if you take what I say less personally though. Because I don't mean to offend someone half the time I bring discussions up.

Didn't I tell you to leave my sight? In all honesty, it'd be in your best interest to do that. Seeing as how you made me mad with your previous post. My intents as to what I'm going to do with you now is correct everything stupid you say until the remainder of your time here.

I might as well introduce myself now: Hi, I'm Protozoid. And I'm your worse nightmare since Tsukuyomi was introduced to the Naruto series.
