I got the feeling it is still Tobi
when nagato used his rinne tensei to revive the dead people of konoha...tobi said to zetsu that he wanted nagato to use his rinne tensei on him instead of wasting it on shinobis of konohagakure. Now, when real madara was revived, he said that Nagato managed to grew because the thought that he was revived by nagato's rinne tensei.....why would tobi say to zetsu that he wanted nagato to use rinne tensei on him when while he was still alive??
once madara said to naruto, "I want to become complete" or something like that. Maybe he wanted nagato to revive the old madara using rinne tensei and then tobi and old madara will merge together....but since nagato was dead, tobi decided that he has to accomplish his goals without the assistance of his former real body(maybe they split before - tobi and real madara or something like that) But when Kabuto revived the real madara, tobi had no other choice but to accept his approval.....

Plus reps, well thought out. I disagree though, as i think the plot has more twists than this.
Logically you've covered all aspects and have made a theory which fits, but since when does kishi the uber troll pay any heed....? What i mean to say is that plot-wise this theory does'nt fit as it has no surprises, something creators of animes like this love to create suspense.


Jutsus have contradicted their supposed mechanisms for working, but that's only one aspect. You see, story wise its incredibly lame if at the end of 1 chapter kishi says ' MADARA IS REVIVED, TOBI IS'NT MADARA...' and then in the next chapter/s goes on to say 'HAAHA TROLLED YA, TOBI REALLY IS MADARA SUCKAAASS......o_o'

It just does'nt fit. I understand you used to blurt out Tobi is Madara and now you've been disproved, lol i believed the same but lets accept the facts here if the manga shows a guy named Bob next chapter and says he climbs trees, you can, rightfully say no, his real name's justin and he climbs mountains because there have been sooo many times when kishi said one thing but than later contradicted it to show something else etc, .. But, the obvious and smart thing is to accept what the manga has clearly shown, and that is that tobi is not madara. I'm not saying its impossible that he be Madara but based on the manga well ,it is.

The manga would be lame in your opinion if Tobi was proved to be Madara. That is your opinion as I have stated earlier. Something being lame is an opinion not a fact. In my opinion it would not be lame.

I have not been disproven and the manga has not been contradicted. It has not been proven that Tobi is not Madara. But all logic and evidence points to him being Madara. Even with Madara revived all evidence still points to Tobi being Madara. There's possible ways for 2 of the same person to exist. In the world of naruto, based on it's logic, it's possible for a person to look left and right at the same time.

If you doubt that Tobi is Madara than logically who can it be? I've explained that Tobi had knowledge and experience that only Madara would have but who else would have that? Why would Minato only guess Tobi to have been Madara? Why would Kisame have seen Tobi face and recognize it as Madara? Why would Itachi have known Madara still existed an found him? But Tobi is somebody other than Madara? That logic is contradictoring and to me in my opinion if all evidence points to Tobi being Madara and Tobi turns out to be somebody who is impersonating Madara than that would be lame. Basically that would be someone who threatens the world using the most basic jutsu. The jutsu that makes you look like someone else, it was introduced in the very beginning, naruto was tested on it and was supposed to copy and look like Iruka. I think mimic jutsu. Basically Tobi would be a master at the mimic jutsu, how lame would that be?

well lets we do not know shit about obito we do not know his background for us to be assume that he wouldnt attack the leave simply because he willingly gave his eye to kakashi and zetzu mite of implanted himself on obito to have the straight to train because u said or someone said kakashi was in the anbu black obs wen kyuubi attacked the leave but i also told u its a possibility that it is obito and a possibility that is not obito and yes tobi had a teenage body and remember its the only technique that tobi ever used the space time jutsu i am sure obito had allot of time to train how to do the technique and its also similar to kakashis time jutsu

Yes we do know shut about obito, we know his background and we know what kind of person he is. He's from the Uchiha clan and wasn't considered to be strong because his sharingan ddnt even activate yet. But he was stubborn to the idea of abandoning a teammate. He was persistent and even went alone to go save Rin when Kakashi chose the mission instead. Kakashi out ranked obito and obito was obliged to listen but disobeyed to go save rin. Obito taught Kakashi the important lesson that probably changed his life "those who break the rules are scum but those who abandon a friend is worse than scum". This is something Kakashi later on taught team 7. Obito who didn't really like Kakashi pushed him out of the way of falling boulders, sacrificing himself to save a teammate. Obito gave his eye to Kakashi during his last moments of living.

Obito was selfless, caring and more than willing to die for his teammates. How would someone like that end up being manipulative and driven to want to take over the world and destroy the leaf is something you haven't explained to me PE.

You have to prove or give reasonable ways of how Zetsu would have found obito. And how was Zetsu going to implant himself in a corpse that was crushed under a pile of boulders. Why would Zetsu do that? Zetsu ha his own body/bodies.

Tobi was the size of Minato, adult size. Kakashi, Kutenai, sauna, shizune, guy were all much smaller than adults and too young to participate in fighting agaisnt kyuubi. Tobi was not the size of Kakashi. But obito who is about kakashis age would have been.

Obito was weaker than Kakashi and your saying within a few years he would have became as strong as the 4th? How? And how would a crushed corspe be able to train?

If Kakashi was in Anbu during the kyuubi attack than how come he wasn't permitted to help?

All circumstantial and left up to the judgement of the reader, none of it is actually hard proof of a relationship between Obito and Tobi, like I said you don't think that Kakashi or Minato would have noticed it was Obito? And where you say you don't know if he's actually dead or not when the rocks "crush" him, hardly, want to explain how he got out? Why do people even believe this at all.

and again i assume zetzu must of have found obito or sensed him alive and took him in and helped obito with his body some how so far we only seen his arms with zetzus my guess zetzu helped obito cut off his arms and transplanted his arms onto obito but i could be wrong of course

if u look up above the other picture tobi has danzo on that table now in this picture when tobi shows his left eye of course u saw a sharingan and i think that sharingan was danzu's sharingan eye that also explains why tobi was able to do izangi on konan its the only explaination

Wrong name on my part, but transformation jutsu was what it was called, and that does'nt give you the abilities of what you transform into. Otherwise Gamaken would have become the kyuubi when he transformed when Naruto fought Gaara.

I'm aware of all those points, i even stated them in my earlier posts man. Listen, we could argue about this forever, but ultimately it all comes down to whether or not the rules of edo tensei apply, which is that a dead person who is NOT living in any shape or form can only be revived. If those rules apply, as i believe they do, Tobi is not Madara. If they don't, then only is their a chance that he is. On a side note, props to everyone who said that the 6th coffin and Tobi's identity were linked.

I agree and according to 561, he is not madara, cause they state that they have been played. Lets look at the requirements for tobi. Able to teleport, had one functional sharingan, and was alive during the time of yondaime. After madara people believe that obito is an obvious choice. Wrong, even though he fits requirements of the eye position, when tobi fought yondaime it was an adult, and kakashi was still a child, meaning obito would have been the same age. It can't be shishui uchia because although he is the best known for teleporting, he had his left eye removed, and also when tobi is alone he refers to shishuis eye in the third person. so who is tobi still lies as the question. tobi i predict might be one of the suggested above,but only under the preconcieved notions that the story plot begins to skew.

I say there is only 2 people that I know who can be tobi. Madara himself who is just using his body like the six paths and using this chance as a diversion to capture the 8 tails or tobi is really the older son of the sage of 6 because he knows about the scroll which was passed down the uchiha clan and he knows how to release it, he has experience with hatred from senju clans ancestor (younger brother).

But i mostly reside on madara because amateresa was planted on sasuke so it will activate when it sees madara uchiha and it actually did but tobi was able to cancel it. Tobi has lived long because of the 1st hokages cells. In the new manga chapter madara explains that he has a part of the firsts cells. Tobi is controlling his body and making it speak using izangi which allows the user who attains both senju and uchiha chakra which when completed makes the rinengan. So tobi has his body talking while he pursues 8 tails. Remember that tobi knows the outcomes of the war he has seen it, he is just playing around to make it more fun. I read those quotes from the manga which i dont remember but i know if you are paying attention, then you will know what i mean.

Owwwwww one more fact I cant believe that i missed it. I let you answer. Did you guys know that the tails knew who controlled it? The only ones who can control the tailed beasts are the ones who posses the mangeko sharingan. There is only few who have that power, including madara uchiha but u might think that ohh also his bother can use it but think carefully why would izuna want to attack the village?

I have been reading some clues and I have come to the conclusion as follows. Tobi the masked man, has some connection or is alive during time of, or quite possibly is Tobirama Senju. Now before i receive my fair share of flamewar, please just read. Tobi, tobirama, #1 clue. Next clue. When the fourth hokage was fighting Tobi after he pulled the nine tails out of kushina, he admires his teleportation ability. He says, wow his teleportation is much stronger than mine or even Nidaime. I didnt mind it at first then i was like wtf is Nidaime. I went on Narutopedia and then i was like holy shit, nidaime means second hokage. Why would his name be randomly thrown into the comic. He was mostly associated with water type jutsu's but why in holy hell would KISHIMOTO throw that in there. This led to my confusion. Beyond this i have no further evidence, and there are plenty of stuff that work against me. His hair color, his SHARINGAN, but then strikes another question. According to anime 561, we know that it probably isnt madara, or kishimoto wasted one entire manga chapter, we know it isnt for damn sure obito cause of the whole kakashi age difference thing, we know it isnt uchiha shuishi because after danzo is killed, tobi says "dammit danzo you managed to crush shuishi's eye in the process" and tobi is not one to refer to himself in the third person, we know it isnt naruto cause i just said that for shits and giggles, that leaves two people Izuna and Tobirama. Now comes a more logical explanation, after madara died(and he did infact die) he briefly achieved the rinnengan, tobi said he placed it into pain. This is the only reason that i know that Tobirama is not tobi. Cause he's dead, plain and simple, orochimaur used him in impure world ressurection. That leaves Izuna Uchiha. There you go he is tobi. Why use the name tobi, well coincidently madara and hashirama were sworn enemies, so i would imagine that tobirama and izuna were perhaps enemies as well. Why not use ur opponents name and genius on Kishimoto's part that obito sounds like tobi (surprised that people dont say it sounds like tobirama, considering the ****ing word tobi is inside of it). Why did yodaime mention nidaime, maybe kishimoto felt bad and gave a hint that its a number two on the other side, **** if i know. Izuna has only been proclaimed dead, never been actually dead. Shishui on the other hand was only missing (his body couldnt be found by kabuto) because danzo tore it to pieces. So that concludes my hypothesis. Great manga, and great mystery placed into it, by far my favorite manga.

Are you saying that Tobi/Izuna took the Rinnegan from Madara's corpse? Or did Madara, after awakening the Rinnegan, give the Rinnegan to Tobi/Izuna?
