Probably Germany. Historically one of the most powerful confederation of tribes in Europe, with multiple world wide impacts. As of recently economically very stable, even profitable. Makes some of the best items in the world... aka cars, alternative energy, ect. Socially has some big problems, but what country doesn't. Politically streamlined and stable after the east and west merged.

Heck the only real problems with them is that some want only "ethnic Germans" in Germany and that they still have this desire to absorb Poland.
