To everyone who is wondering how Madara knew Nagato:
In chapter 400, page 9 u can see Madara talking to Itachi meaning Madara lived at the same time as Nagato. That explains how Madara knew Nagato.

Tobi or Obito as I like to call him probably killed Madara and took his right eye.

You just need slapping down. How on god earth would Obito kill Madara when his left side of his body is crushed. His other eye belongs to Kakashi AND OBITO WAS NOT EVIL AT ALL.

This chapter is so cunfusing... But it solves that Madara was Tobi but only a soul and that the Madara we showed himself is his dead self that Kabuto restored........So crazy!

He could have gotten help too. Tobi only had one Hole in his Mask, wich might help hint that kakashi has the other, as you can suspect in Chapter 396 page 1. Tobi's sharingan is always active like Kakashi wich could link the eyes. Kakashi and Obito also has similarities in the sharingan as others have pointed Out.
What we have seen of Obito looks nothing like madara or madaras little brother, but the face has similarities to Obito and the haircut is the same.
Also If you stock the letters in Obito u can form Tobi.
Obito was a Nice guy Indeed but he still has Uchia blood making him capabal for revenge. sasuke was a Nice guy too until his clan and family was murdered. It has prevously also been stated that sasuke Chose the path of revenge because he had Uchia blood.
Does this make sense?

That's not under armor one half of his body is Black Zestu from head to toe... The other side is White Zestu clone of Madara.

If you're referring to the moment Tobi appears behind Konan showing both sharigan with his masked cracked after her assault, it can be easily argued that those are merely shadows covering the other half of his face; which wouldn't be really too surprising seeing as kishi does that type of thing numerous times.

In the same picture, it shows his chest which is entirely black. Not half white, half black. This is why I say it's his under armor, otherwise he would be black and white.

Just to add something to my Obito theory:
Take a look at Chapter 243 page 13 and Chapter 397 page 1-3. Do u see the similarities? Tobi is Obito, I'm sure!

Just speculating, and this may have already been mentioned.
But it seems Tobi has been desperate this entire time to revive Madara.
His first plan was to use Rinne Tensei to revive him, this failed.
He then initiated the attack on the Kage summit in a attempt to gain access to Shisui's eye. Its possible that he knew this would be the key to breaking free of Edo Tensei, as Edo would be the only other known revival tech that can revive people from a long time ago.

Unfortunately, the fact that he did not know much about Edo to begin with makes me less confident in this idea.

1. Obito's left side was crushed, and he was buried under tons of rock.
2. Mr. Masked Guy used Izanagi w/ his left eye.
3. Itachi kept his sharngan active too.
4. Why would Obito want revenge?
5. Kakashi and Obito are about the same age. During the Ninetails attack, the guy behind the mask was definitely old. You could see part of his wrinkly face when he tried to reveal himself to Sasuke too.

Hehe, but u do agree Tobi and Obito look alike and that the name Tobi is hinting to Obito?
I'm sure Kishi would be able to explain all this If he had set the plot aleready at Chapter 170.

u do know no one knows nothing about obito right all we know of him is that he is an uchiha gave his left eye to kakashi was a angry nice ninja and supposedly died under the rocks but it was never shown and as for his tombstone there is none in konoha there are numbers of names that died with honor and obito was one of them but doesnt mean his actually body is there because kakashi, rinn and minato left obito behind so theres no way they came back for him to dig him out the rocks and burry him bodies just do not stay in one place for years and years some ninja have discovered his body on the ground alive or dead and it could of been madara himself or any other evil missin in

Manga 510 pg 8..... That is not shadow covering! Thats pitch black... If that's the case the lil peice of mask on that same side would be dark as well...

A theory regarding of how can be a fake-madara.

I came up with this idea. Okay, Madara died right? We have confirmed it, hence Kabuto ressurected him. Okay, then there is his dead body, and someone used a more complicated Orochimaru's soul transfer jutsu, thus putting your own soul into that body, and being in Madara's body. Madara did die, hence his soul left the body. what are your thoughts?

Doesn't that in itself make it a perfect cliffhanger? There is also a lot of arguments for tobi being Obito. I have not seen a single argument that could not have been explained by Kishimoto If Obito was tobi.

How could Izuna be Tobi? Izuna is dead, we saw his body in a grave. We have never had any evidence of Obito being dead.

Look closely, the mask is covered in shadow as well, it's just not as dark. And if he were truly black and white, explain why his feet are the same color. In the manga and anime his feet are clearly shown to be regular, not one half black and the other white as you claim.

Do you honestly have to see a grave of everyone who has died in Naruto in order to confirm their death? If that's the case, do you know how many people "could" be alive right now in the series? As someone pointed out earlier, when Madara revealed his face it was old and wrinkled. Obito is about the same age as Kakashi, if tobi is using his body he defiantly would not look that old.
