do you think if naruto will use his special jutsu, "talking" against dead madara? and naruto will tell dead madara that someone is pretending to be him and wants to control the world.

Well this is My best prediction about who is Tobi; First let's see all this Information
1)Tobi hates Konoha=>Tobi is not Obito
2)Tobi was surprised when Kabuto showed him Impure world ressurection and it was not planned and when Madara was summened he was awesomed to be ressurrected with that technique =>Tobi is not madara
3)Itachi was already resseructed =>Tobi is not Itachi
4)Tobi's plan is to rule the world with MS Tsukomyu , and we all know that using MS too long makes you blind only if you are taking some body else MS and this transplent doesn't work only between Uchiha shinobi =>Tobi is an Uchiha who took his MS from another Uchiha
5)The only way that an Uchiha could get informations about 10 tails bijuu is weather he is from a very ancient time or he read it from the uchiha secret rock, and we know that Tobi needed Riingan to accomplish reading The informations from the rock => Tobi is not the sage of six paths son and this confirms that he is not tobi since tobi did not had MS or Sasuke's father
6)Tobi is using his MS and he lost one in the fight vs Konan and we saw there that he can solidify himself (He is made of Real Flesh) => Tobi is not Shisu since Shisu los both of his eyes one to Itachi and and one To Danzo and Tobi was looking for Shisu's Eye from Danzo
7)Tobi is an Uchiha who lived in the time of Hashirama and the birth of Nagato since he said that he is one who gave him Riingan=>.........................
Finally) The only shinobi who aquires all this conditions is Izuna : He has MS (Can read the rock) and lived by the time of Hashirama and not yet ressurected (not dead) and he have the reasons to hate Konoha and of course he could take Madara'eyes back since he was burried in a place even Kabuto could reach and maybe he took Hashirama's flesh from dead Madara's weapons Or Madara's eyes got mixed with Hashirama's blood or some stuff like this and His weakness was for making a technique to live all this time or for taking a dead uchiha eyes
Also I can't see that is possible for Tobi to be a new Charecter because Madara is the first one who activated MS and all the othe known mentioned Uchiha who had it are Izuna then Shisu and Itachi and Sasuke and to make a new Uchiha is Tobi this will be A crap
So can anyone beat this Analyse or find a gap in it

Edo Tensei brings back the dead with all their memories and own wills but without being able to control their actions (a question is: what happens when edo tensei is released? does the called-back zombies just dissappear again?)

It seems that Madara was at the witnessing of the birth of the Rinnegan guy and like a godfather he gave him the name Nagato (ie he recomended the father of Nagato to give him that name) and he might have advised his father to tell Nagato to resurrect him later.

Kabuto when meeting Tobi says: (approx.) "you name yourself Madara these days"
which means Tobi is not Madara but says to the people in these days that he is Madara.
That means that Kabuto also knows who Tobi really is and that he changes his identity from time to time.

Since hearing people comments to why Tobi could be Madara has made me warm up quite a bit to the idea of that

Anyway I am confused to how Madara knew Nagato, since Madara was around 100 years ago, I don't even think Jiraiya was alive when Madara was. So how could Madara know Nagato?

I am not sure whether Madara died or not. Maybe Madara died when he fought the 1st Hokage or he lived afterwards. Anyway remember Madara thought he was brought back by Nagato rebirth Jutsu? Do you also remember Tobi said Nagato rebirth Jutsu was for him when Nagato died?

I believe Madara and Tobi are now the same person, I believe Tobi is the split version of Madara. I do not know if anyone has noticed this. I had to re-check the manga to just refresh my memory. You only see Madara in this chapter with One Sharingan and when Tobi fought Konan his right eye closed when he used Izanagi, where his Main Sharingan has always been visible on his left side. Even now with the Rinnegan he keeps that left Sharingan. I believe that left Sharingan is Uchiha Madara's. I'm not sure how Madara managed to split himself in to two. Maybe Tobi was created by the help of Zetsu (Explains why his body is made up of Zetsu goo and is able to replace any limb). The split version is not the body etc, it solely the left eye of Uchiha Madara.

I do not believe Madara used Izanagi to save his life, it explains why he died. He used Izanagi to breathe life perhaps into the body Zetsu made and used his left eye to keep himself to live on. That could explain why Tobi has lived on for so long.

I am sorry if none of this makes sense, I already wrote all this out and it annoyed me to write it all again. If you don't understand some parts. Just say so I can explain it better.

To SUM it all up

Tobi is Madara, he has Madara left eye and Madara used Izanagi to keep that part of himself to live on through the Zetsu body, that is why the left eye perhaps didn't close,, Maybe the EMS gave him that ability to do this. It could explain why Tobi can not use EMS because he is not reunited with Madara.

Maybe it why Tobi had to agree to side with Kabuto because while Kabuto had control of Madara, he could never reunite with him.


Madara right eye is only visible

Tobi left eye was only visible (before the rinnegan)

I actually believe Madara and Tobi are the same person

I just don't know how Madara would know who Nagato was.

Ahh that we only saw Madara with one eye also adds to my theory it being Obito. Obito could have stealed his one eye and gained MS!

Madara probably knew Nagato so it can't be long ago since his death. I think might Obito killed Madara and took his one eye.
I am pretty sure Tobi is Obito. There's so many clues leading Obito to be Tobi.

Good one! read your previous posts too, and the others, but this is clearly the best theory! Though there is still some questions to answaer about how Edo Madara could have known Nagato...Maybe the Nagato we know is someone else? Or Not? If Madara died somewhere after the clash with the 1st hokage, and knew the Nagato we know; it must mean that he lived at the same time as Jiraya, and must`ve known Tobi quite well....But I can`t imagine who this Tobi could b, other than the real Madaras other half. Becuase Tobi said he is just a shell of his former self, and at half strength. And Nagatos Rebirth jutsu was originally meant to b used on Tobi (Madara duplicate), so that he could regain his full strength..? Hm.
Nxt, what is Kabuto planning to do, pushing Tobi so hard, all this just to gain Sasuke, and whos side is he really on? Why did he wanna lead Leaf straight to their base... - is this a hint to something? Kabuto clearly knows alot! Now Kabuto released his trumph card, and if your theory is true, what is Tobi going to do about this...?
