there is a possibility that there are two madara's, the original who died and got resurrected, and a clone, for example the connection between the 1st and yamato, tobi could have been created before madara died to resurrect madara in the off chance that madara eventually died in battle, however being a clone he had it in his mind to go through with the "moon eye plan" (i think thats what its called) by himself.

however this could be the ramblings of a tired person... btw in the off chance there are people that are gonna have a go at me for posting this... its just my view of what i think, im not saying this is what it is as i have no proof to back me up...

Tobi Theory

Ok since we found out the Tobi is not Madara in the latest manga, I am going to introduce a new theory that I personally have not seen before.

Tobi is Uchiha Madara, but not the Uchiha Madara that you are thinking of.

Before Madara fought the first he conceived a baby with a member of the Senju clan(more likely Uzamaki), this baby would later become the masked man Tobi. This would make Tobi ~70-80 years old and with the senju blood be able to live longer then most. This would also make some sense because Tobi was able to use Izangi, which needs both Senju blood and Sharingan. Tobi would also have to be part Uchiha since it seems he isn't drained by the use of the sharingan like non-Uchiha users.

I also believe the Rinnegan is like the Sharingan and requires a certain blood type in order to be used and heres what I came up with.

So6P (Rinnegan)= Older brother (Sharingan/Occular Power/Uchiha) + Younger brother (Body stamina/Senju)*

The sharingan is a lesser form of the rinnegan and it seems have formed once the senju power has been taken away. So adding in occular powers with senju blood could be the only way to be able to use the rinnegan in the same way as the Uchiha's use the sharingan. We know Naguto is an Uzamkai (shenju) and was able to control the rinnegan and if Tobi does have the senju blood in him it would explain how he is able to control the rinnegan also.

So what I think happened was that after Madara's loss to the First, Madara's wife (probably a powerful female ninha) exiled herself from the leaf village and had her baby. This child went on to train with the intentions of revenge for his Father's death.

Sorry if this seems a little sloppy but I'm doing this in haste and I believe that this can be a very plausible theory.

TL,DR: Tobi is Madara's son (Madara Jr.)

I have an idea about who is behind the mask. This is all speculation but I think that when madara and the first fought the first almost killed madara. but not quite so madara used what little chakra he had and somehow planted it into nagato. The uchiha chakra mixed with nagato's uzumaki/senju chakra creating the rinnegan. when madara sealed his chakra into nagato he added to the seal so that when nagato activated his rinnegan a part of madara was released. MAdara needs the jubbi so that he can restore his former self. This would explain why madara said he gave nagato the rinnegan and it explain why madara mentioned nagato when he exited the coffin.
