well, it was madara in the coffin. now on to who is tobi, there is probalby going to be lots of threads like these since it's now proven that tobi isn't madara. there was just too many chances for kishi to actually give HARD facts that tobi is madara but didn't, that's what made me believe he wasn't.

I'm going for the Obito theory.
The appearnce resembles him a bit. Tobi=Obito, the names resemble too.

First of all how could Tobi possess the Rineggan? So I was thinking that Tobi is actually so6p's elder son. So6p probably gave his Rineggan to his youngest son and so the older one got jealous of him. He tried to take the Rineggan from his older brother and a battle sparked bet. them. He may have taken one of his younger brothers Rineggan even if he couldn't kill him.

Now so6p's younger son is directly related to Pain which explains he got a Rineggan.

It could be Madara too .. i mean .. the one that we saw in the last chapter it could be White Zetsu Copying him or something .. it could be a trick etc..

there were simply too many times that kishi could have proven that madara was tobi beyond a reasonable dount but didn't, I tried to convince others but oh well, this is only an "I told you so" toward the guys that tried to make us seem like complete idiots for thinking otherwise, to the guys who were still open to the possibility, I respect your opinion

remember a while ago in a chapter when madara was frightened by something that was brought back to life i bet that that was madaras body brought back so i dought it zetsu

Lets not overthink it coz all predictions fail since we do not know any character who contacted itachi earlier during massacre of uchiha.It might be somebody related to itachi.

A thread dedicated to everyone who said that the sixth coffin was madara before 559 came out.

Imo, they key in revealing Tobi's true identity is Madara's words - "It would appear that little brat Nagato managed to grow.."
