Aaaaand curiosity strikes me again. xd

Okay. So I'm wondering...

What do you prefer: Subbed Naruto or Dubbed Naruto? (The anime in general, not just the person.)

I, personally, don't mind. I mean, some voices sound terrible in Dub (Hidan) while some voices sound terrible in Sub (Neji).

I prefer Sub for Hidan and Dub for Neji.

So, long story short, I believe it depends on the voices.

What's your opinion?

Jaz The Ninja is OUT.

Subbed. Though I can watch either.

Naruto- Doesn't matter but I prefer Subbed
One Piece- Subbed only
Bleach- Doesn't matter but I actually like the dubbed more
DBZ- Dubbed only
Yu Yu Hakusho- Dubbed only
Fairy Tail- Doesn't matter but I prefer subbed

Sub for Naruto. I can watch either though. Both have their pluses.

Dub Naruto sucks, but Dub Deidara rules.

Sub just rules overall for me, but I do like just knowing the words like I do in English.

Dubbed, lacks emotion. They sound monotone. And when they do put emotion, its at the wrong time (i.e. Naruto looks calm but is growling and yelling). Sub > Dub

Reading subtitles gets a little tedious after a while, especially due to my random dyslexia poping up every once in a while. Really the voices don't matter to me, I can't tell much of a diff between the emotion in the characters they sound the same to me. If I had a choice to watch the same episode dubed or subed I'd watch the dubed version. I might be a rarity amoung the base in that choice...although I don't mind subs.

Yeah...reading subs sorta can distract you from watching an epic fight scene or missing a main detail, but however, some Sub voices are better than Dub. I don't see the difference from emotion either, but I honestly don't mind for Naruto. Other animes, I have problems with..

The original Japanese audio is way more emotion filled. I don't know what it is but the English dub just totally kills it. I don't know why. They have a hard time expressing what the original did.

Not to mention the fact that they can't pronounce names correctly. Also, I find their pathetic attempt of rolling their R's very very irritating.

Sub DBZ > Dub DBZ.
Sub Naruto > Dub Naruto

It's made in Japan, and thats where it is original. US Censores a lot of animes, with companies like 4Kids. People who whine that they watn to watch not read subs just don't know how to read properly.

Dub DBZ was nice, yeah. But it lacks of way too many things and specials that were released in Japan only and nowhere else.

And when i watch something, i want to watch it from the Beginning, through the middle, to the End. Not censored.

I disagree, DBZ is the only anime I'd ever seen where the dub was actually better than original Japanese audio. The Japanese voices were annoyingly high pitched. The English was perfect. Especially Vegeta's voice

then buy the uncut volume sets and watch it censored
sometimes specials may not be dubbed but i dont really care

Dub: Itachi Gaara Deidara Tenten(i dont know but her squeaky voice in sub just isnt suiting) Shino > than sub

other voices i like same as in dub or dub
naruto's sub is sooooo cute:pwease::p
naruto's dub so funny :rofl:xd

btw bleach FMA and DBZ have way better dub than sub
i dont why but i just think its suiting and in FMA i get more emotion:shrug: in dub
