Can preta absorb full kyuubi TBB
Can deva path shinra tensei TBB
Can human path rip out Kyuubi's yang chakra like minato did

If the answer is yes to all of these questions then I'd say its almost impossible for pain to win, but not impossible. If any one of those scenarios is not true, then no they cannot win. The only way I see a win coming is if somehow the other paths can distract kyuubi long enough for animal path to grab the kyuubi and rip his chakra out. Then the kyuubi will be weak enough for chibaku tensei.

And of course this is all IMO.

But dude, the real ninetails is wayy larger than the ninetails with only yang chakra, and it is way more powerful. I don't doubt that deva could have made chibaku tensei bigger, but if my scaling is correct, the ninetails with both yin and yang chakra should be at least 27 times bigger (volume), than the 1/2 ninetails sealed in naruto.

i think he could, Deva path shuld be able to absorb most of its attacks and from what we have seen when pain used universal push on the Toad summons it should work on the Kyuubi to keep him at a distance and hurt him

pain is actually a good character to fight the kyubi and would put up a fight but all the paths except deva would pretty much get obliterated sooner than him. deva can try Ct and weaken it but not more than that i doubt he can really fully finish off the nine tails which was considerably weaker than the 8 tails(with half the chakra) that naruto was in during their fight which already broke out of it.

Preta absorbs most of kyubi's chakra, his tbb and uses the new chakkra to make himself look good again and use the remaining extra chakra to trap it in a chibaku tensei big enough to hold it or use the remaining chakra to summon gedo mazo and seal it in the middle of the battle(he'll be able to compensate for the lack of other members)

he can absorb tbb if he can absorb killer bee's entire version 2
he probably will be able to drain the nine tails of most of his chakra then use it to seal it in gedo mazo or wrap it in chibaku tensei

are you forgetting that the preta path can absorb chakra and all ninjutsu? the energy for a big enough chibaku tensei will coe from the nine tails itself
