Also i could say if itachi would beat madara why didn't he kill him. wouldn't it of been better if the "mighty" itachi killed madara when he had a chance to and stop him attacking the leaf in the future

Itachi is unordinarily strong. No one can deny that. But Itachi is to dependent upon his Amaterasu and his MS, Which we have seen cannot even faze madara. Itachi's fire style pales in comparison to madara who has had a crap load of years to perfect his where as Itachi has less than a lifetime. I haven't really seen Itachi or Madara's taijutsu that much so I cannot confirm that Madara is stronger or weaker than Itachi's so that is where I admit I am stumped. But seriously if you are a true itachi fan you will know his strength's AS WELL as his limits. Every character has them.

Exactly what I am trying to say I mean how would Madara win if Itachi can just seal the bijuu or him with Susano'o or genjutsu him with tsysokioumi (Spelling). Then while Madara is in genjutsu just burn him to death or seal him! Please argue I am ready bring it on!:no_ignore:

1) tsukuyomi is itachis best chance yes

2) amaterasu, Madara already survived it

3) susanoo wouldn't be able to touch madara because of his S/T jutsu

4) he has izanagi if anything goes wrong

do you honestly think that itachi could even trap madara in the genjutsu and itaci cannot seal the bijuu by himself. It took all the members of Akatsuki to seal the bijuu's one at a time. And madara could just break through tsysokioumi just like sasuke did. and believe me madara has learned susano'o
if itachi and sasuke can learrn it in a matter of weeks..madara can learn jutsu that surpass that in his long line of YEARS.

tobi's genjutsu has been strong so far even better than itachi tsykuyomi becuase madara can control people for days in his genjutsu
so a genjutsu battle would be pointless for itachi because madara can break it like how sauske broke itachi's.
susanno against madara and the ninetails(nine tails would destoy susanno and this is the nine tails with yin and yang
amerterasu i think itachi may have the best chance with this jutsu i think this jutsu in particular is madara weakness and that could be the reason that he even gave sasuke amertersu to hit madara/tobi to tell him how to fight madara.(at least with tobi body)

Itachi is a beast.

He has MS, amazing genjutsu, taijutsu, and ninjutsu this guy in my opinion is a real ninja. He was always calm in the series and was always a bad ass person who beat the crap out of anyone who messed with him. (He didn't kill J man because he was a great sage and was protecting the Leaf).

Itachi would own Madara.

I need to find out how hashimara defeated madara in his prime with the ems, before i can comment about itachi vs madara. kishi seriously needs to give us more insight into hashimaru vs madara fight, because although hashimara is extrmemly strong, to defeat madara with the ems is something else.

Anyway there is no doubt that madara ws wary of itachi, but in the state itachi was in due to his health he knew he couldnt defeat madara, thats why he implanted amaterasu into sasuke in the hope of killing him.
