Why does it seem like there aren't a whole lot of love twists. There is the whole Naruto-Hinata thing, and the Sakura chasing Sasuke thing, and the Matsuri being Gaara's biggest fan (like every other girl in the Sand), but whats happening to the rest of the world?

i think he shouldnt add more love twists.but i agree with you that the romance part is weak and i want to see more but not about new peoples but more about already existed twists!!!

There have been a few love plot-twists.

In pt.2, we had a-loy of potential for Naruto and Sakura. Then ch.469 happened :s She apparently still loves Sasuke(romantically) more than Naruto, even after everything that they had been through. And we still don't know how Naruto feels about Hinata.

We also had the potential for Sasuke and Karin while he was with Hebi/Taka. Seemed like it could've gone somewhere..But that was also shot down in the Kage Summit since he sacrificed her, and she doesn't care about him anymore :s But then Sasuke doesn't care about Sakura anymore either..

Kishimoto is really good at making his romance unobvious xD

I don’t mind at all a little romance I here a lot saying hell no but I always look at it as clan this and blood line that. Just think if you are a powerful ninja but you don’t have any off spring it all pretty much dies with you. Especially for KGs. Like Pain All that power going to waste. I mean how many times can you transfer the eyes before they are worthless? Some things are just far better with blood lines and even more so when you have a clan for it.

As a guy, I wouldnt mind seeing at least one relationship finally coming to a conclusion in all this war torn, battle hardended shounen.

From Naruto's perspective, we're unsure as to what he feels outright, since he has never stated one way or another.

Sakura ... toughie ... From what Ive read, there is always some sort of underlying relationship between herself and Naruto, even if its vague in writing. Her expression of love during the Kages Summit was a ruse to detract Naruto from his hunt for Sasuke as she was hoping by recipricating that love factor she had to be told to from Sai (of all people) that Naruto would perhaps release some of the pressures that she has caused. Knowing his burdens such as the Kyuubi, the Akatsuki and then being told by Sai that the promise, he is trying to keep to her, is forcing him to extreme lengths gives me the impression at least she might just be smart enough to understand that really, she is more to him then perhaps just a friend.

You then have Hinata who basically sacrificed herself in a battle Naruto had otherwise lost and during one of her flashbacks before the time of the manga you saw her feelings for Naruto being overtly obvious so the no brainer in this situation is, will she pluck up the female gonads to actually approach him or not.

Temari and Shikamaru would be a classic go to. Him saving her or vice verca in some battle down the line would pretty much seal that relationship but that might still be a while.

it would have made the anime epic if sasuke and sakura were together in part one and sasuke still left it would add more tension in the anime and more people would want to watch it more because of the underlying thing....imagine sakuras love of her life basically said FU I have power now....more people would watch the anime to see what would happen to their realtionship

Idk... the romance so far is OKAY. It would be perfectly adequate if Naruto would just acknowledge the fact that Hinata confessed her love for him. I mean, what the hell happened following the weeks after Pain's attack? She just avoided him? lmfao.

Like I said, Naruto is more of a shounen manga. I think it wouldn't be Naruto if it had more romance in it.
