me I think theyre going for a kurenai and asuma like relationship hidden and secretive which isnt nice....they behave like asuma and kurenai everyone hints at a relationship but they deny it.

Why does it seem like there aren't a whole lot of love twists. There is the whole Naruto-Hinata thing, and the Sakura chasing Sasuke thing, and the Matsuri being Gaara's biggest fan (like every other girl in the Sand), but whats happening to the rest of the world?

Yeah I always wonder this myself. Kishi misses out on some awesome opportunities to key up the drama between the pairings.

I just think he's trying to keep it within that whole "shounen" manga feel-- stick to the fighting and fancy powers and such. It's kind of a shame though.

Oh well! There's always fanfiction! ^^
