He should totally have Temari and Shikamaru fighting together, protecting each other even. It would balance out the romance angle with action.

theres no reason to complain XD its supposed to outweigh the romance. this is an action show/manga. i mean theres gonna be romance here and there but that doesnt have anything to do with the actual story.

actually this is why i dont like naruto as much as i would because when it comes to character and intercharacter development it fails one peice is better at character development but the jutsu is a cool idea and the plot twists around every corner are what keep the series going....I wont be surprised if naruto ends without any romantic thing happening in the whole show..

There really needs to be a balance, so far it has just been about the blood and gore. Play up the character relationships, thats half the story.

yeah.. some love won't hurt those blood and gore lovers..
I think..it isn't possible that the romance would play the half of the story.. but I would be glad if Kishi put some of it..

What about narusaku! that seems preety hopeful! and saiino! and najiten! and gaara, IF he ever wants a girlfriend.. and i know this isnt a " romance " manga.. but i really wish it had just a little more love realated chapaters than it does now..

since recent events (sakura lying to naruto about her feelings) and past events (sakura treating naruto like dirt) i highly doubt that will happen. besides recently i havent seen naruto freaking out over sakura or anything like that. my guess is hes given up on her
