From what Ive seen Black Lightning is nothing special, and IS is the most powerful weapon in Sunas history. Darui is simply very skilled jounin, Sasori is the most powerful shinobi Sunagakure ever produced, they are on a completely different tier of power.

Storm release will rape all Sasori's puppets and black lightning will neutralize all the iron sand, how could you possibly say a bunch of puppets could win against storm release quadruple storm beam? Capable of destroying mountains! Sasori has a good chance due to puppets and poison, but I think Darui is being underrated here, which is understandable because we don't really know a lot about him, but I think Sasori is overrated.

Also, if Sakura or Chiyo fought Sasori separately Hiruko alone would be enough to own them. Not to mention that Sakura prepared antidotum for Sasoris poison.

But I have to give it to Sasori though. Posion, iron sand, 100 puppets... Plus he just has the ruthlessness to win as well. Darui seems kind of flakey sometimes...

Gaara is yet to be aknoledged as stronger Kazekage than 3rd, and Sasori has all the power of 3rd Kazekage to his disposition, not to mention that his IS is even more dangerous than 3rds, becuase its also poisoned.

Gaara's sand won over his father's gold(dust) sand. And i bet that the gold sand was better. But Gaara's controll over his sand was superiour, therefore i think he even has surpassed the 3'rd Kazakage.

He he saw through that attack like Chiyo said. He could dodge it, but didnt want to. At that time, Sasori had almost no will to live.
