lighting pierces earth/sand, it would atleast pierce far enough to get his hand in gaaras safety bubble and drop in 2-4 explosive tags

i would throw 2 kunai with explosive tags and 1 with flash, followed by the shadow shuriken technique. While gaara is busy fending off the kunais and bla bla bla, i run towards him with my sword in hand, infused with chidori.
