[Theory] Rinnegan's secret TRUTH (weak)

Well Izanagi is said to be a visual jutsu so it would HAVE to have come from the rinnegan originally meaning that the rinnegan CAN be capable of more than we've seen. I'm not saying it IS (even though it is since SO6P used Izanagi with it) but it's very possible!

Izanagi is in fact based on a much more advanced technique the SO6P used. Its called Creation of All Things. Both require the user to be able to use the Yin/Yang Release.

The First Son also had the Rinnegan, it was His descendants that became the Uchiha it was His descendants that developed the Sharigan. As Madara stated the Uchiha bloodline had thin out over time. This indicated that the Rinnegan over time had become the Sharigan because of this the original powers of the Rinnegan evolve to the powers of the Sharigan Substituting one set of powers for a noter over time.

more importantly Madara claims that Rinnegan was his first- It's still not clear wha he meant by that .. he thought he had a claim on it somehow or he actually had it in his physical possession and experimented on Nagato - him being an Uzumaki..

So he maybe considering himself Second So6P for long already.

One thing. If your theory is true, the Rinnengan would get a major boost in power if Madara obtains all 6 paths. However, the Rinnengan at Nagato's level destroyed Konoha, and took on Itachi, Naruto + Bee together. That is why it is seen to be so powerful. Therefore, according to your theory the Rinnengan atm is only 1/6 of its full potential. But this 1/6 practically matched many kage level shinobi.

Hence, this 'weak' form of Rinnengan is overkill compared to the other 2 doujutsus untill we see the full power of EMS from Sasuke.

i know naruto is the Child of the prophecy but maybe in a diffrent sense i know naruto wont get the rinnegan dont be surprised ut he may get the RInnegans manifestation the true power of The sage of sixth paths dream ....

Right! That's what i was saying. I was never saying it was WEAK just WEAK COMPARED TO WHAT IT'S CAPABLE OF!!

I was told by a friend of mine who is from Japan that the statement Madara made there is a victim of "not translating to english well". She said that in Japanese what he said meant that "his bloodline or heritage is what made the gift of the rinnegan possible, so Nagato having itwas all thanks to him" like he was taking credit just because he was a decendant of, and thinks himself to be the true heir of the SO6P. I haven't researched it myself but i have no reason to think she'd make that up :shrug:

Jiraiya stated the Rinnegan is the greatest of the doujutsu and everyone takes it as gospel truth. HOWEVER, we have all been FORGETTING something VERY IMPORTANT!!! I JUST came to this realization a few moments ago and CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I DIDN'T CATCH THIS SOONER!!!

The ONLY person to possess the rinnegan besides Nagato was the SO6P. THAT IS WHY IT'S HERALDED AS THE GREATEST DOUJUTSU!!! LOOK AT EVERYTHING SO6P DID WITH IT!!! AAAAALL ITS ABILITIES!!!

HERE'S WHAT WE ALL FORGET......ESPECIALLY IN THE ITACHI V. NAGATO AND SHARINGAN V. RINNEGAN THREADS.

JUST LIKE IZANAGI REQUIRES 2 OF THE 6 PATHS..... IN ORDER TO ACCESS ALL OF THE RINNEGAN'S POWER, YOU NEED ALL 6 PATHS! THAT'S WHY MADARA IS COLLECTING THEM!!!

So if you need all 6 paths BEFORE you can use all of it's abilities (like using Izanagi well enough to NOT LOSE YOUR EYESIGHT and being able to fuse the biju and CONTROL the Jubi) that means THE RINNEGAN WE'VE BEEN SEEING IN ACTION IS ACTUALLY A WEAKENED VERSION OF IT SINCE THE WIELDER WASN'T EVEN PART OF ONE OF THE TWO MAIN BLOODLINES OF THE RIKUDOU SENIN!!!

That COULD also explain little things that bothered me about rinnegan like "if its the greatest, how come Naruto's smoke bombs could fool its vision when byakugan AND sharingan can see through things like that??!?" WITH MADARA HAVING 3 OF THE 6 PATHS HE MAY ALREADY HAVE ACCESS TO NEW ABILITIES OF THE RINNEGAN OR HAVE IMPROVED OCCULAR ACCUITY! OR THE TECHS WE'VE ALREADY SEEN MAY HAVE THEIR POWER AMPLIFIED!!!

The bottom line point i want to make though is this...... WHEN JIRAIYA SAID RINNEGAN WAS THE GREATEST OF THE DOUJUTSU...... HE WAS SPEAKING OF THE RINNEGAN THAT THE SO6P HAD...... NAGATO DIDN'T POSSESS THE 6 PATHS OF THE SAGE SO HIS RINNEGAN WAS NOT NECESSARILY THE GREATEST TOO...... JUST LIKE GIVING A SHARINGAN TO SOMEONE WITH LOW CHAKRA WHO CAN NEVER AWAKEN MANGEKYO!!!! THE RINNEGAN WAS THE GREATEST TO EVER EXIST IN THE HANDS OF THE SO6P!

I absolutely agree with you!!!

I had pointed that out a few months ago in a post of mine and got yelled at that they are two different doujutsu. BUT they BOTH CAME FROM ONE EYE! It doesn't make any sense that the saringan with its 3 tamoe is a watered down version of the rinnegan if the original rinnegan was only the rings like the one Nagato had. Where did the tamoe come from? Makes perfect sense that the Jubi's eye looked like that b/c it was mirroring the SO6P's eyes while under his control just as kyuubi's eyes mirrored Madara's sharingan while under control, just like you said!

So the ORIGINAL RINNEGAN HAD TO BE DIFFERENT AND MORE POWERFUL!!!

agree.. it was what I thought as well..but so many people look at the same words in so many different ways and interpret differently that it is always better to confirm it from more than one source than running with weired theories and threads like Cockly locky and Ducki Lucki.xd

Caps Lock just to EMPHASIZE!...... I don't know how many people have noticed, but it's not easy to express things like voice modulation or sarcasm with WRITTEN WORD. As i am a VERY animated and expressive person, i tend to TYPE IN WAY THAT MIRRORS THE WAY I WOULD USE MY VOICE TO EMPHASIZE WORDS AND PHRASES!!! yes ppl have been getting this wrong for a while some ppl think that he is another S06p when he is not, he only has one of the paths not all of it if he did he would then be a 2nd s06p but its shown that he does not have the paths because he is an uzumaki(only realted to senju) and the fact that he does not exhibit skills like izanagi and other Kg abilities of the uchiha clan. Thanks for making a thread on it cos a lot of ppl get confused on this matter.

Actually that makes sense. The relative ease with which Itachi was able to take down Nagato left a lot of question marks as to why that happened if indeed the rinnegan was the strongest.
Also Pain's chibaku tensei was a looong way off from being comparable even remotely in mass to the moon the SO6P was said to have created.
