I think that the mystery guy is a former bijuu vessel. Its probably not though. It would be cool if it was the Sage of Six paths XD

Here is my prediction.

Tobi is Uchiha Kagami.
The body in the 6th coffin is not Madara, but instead, Uchiha Obito!!!!!!!!!

Why do I believe this? We need someone who has a deep grudge against Konoha and is still alive today. Given the status on his face, the wrinkles, etc. I would assume Tobi is old, nearly as old as Danzo and Hiruzen. Given that factor, I would assume it is someone around their age, just like Uchiha Kagami.

I believe Kagami and Obito are FATHER AND SON. Yes, I do believe that truly. Why do I believe that? We have been informed that all Mangekyou Sharingans are unique, each with different powers. Not all MS users will have Ameterasu, Tsukoyomi and Susanoo. What we have learned as well was that siblings appear to share similar powers in the MS. Sasuke and Itachi both are capable of using the 3 mentioned above. So what's the point of that? Kakashi, he's the link. Tobi can use a space time jutsu that derives from his eye, his right eye. Kakashi can do the same but only on objects other then himself and from his left eye. The techniques are similar, possibly meaning that Obito and Tobi(Kagami) are blood relatives, aka Father and Son. If this theory is true, it could also mean a possible reason to how Kagami came up with the alias of Tobi.

Where does this lead?

Kagami had already suffered the loss of not just a close person, but a son, one whom he mourns for still today. Given the fact Kagami was the third member of Hiruzen and Danzo's group, this could prove that the 3, Hiruzen, Danzo and Kagami were all close friends. When Danzo and the elders agreed to have the Uchiha clan eliminated, it could have been possible that Danzo and/or Hiruzen told Kagami to flee, but I think a different reason came to be below.

During this time, Kagami could have already been feeling remorse, pain or grudge against the Leaf village. One of the reasons was due to the death of his son Obito whom should have been in good hands under the 4th Hokage. Hearing his death, Kagami might have concluded that the 4th might have used Obito as a decoy or some expendable pawn. But there could have been a chance he was already upset from before this after losing to Hiruzen to become hokage.

What I find more believable is that Kagami left the village and became a rogue ninja after Obito's death, wanting to exact his revenge. After failing to destroy Konoha with the fox, he soon found out via Itachi that Danzo, Hiruzen and the elders wanted Itachi to eliminate the Uchihas, furthering his rage. But he also found out that Itachi and the others believed that he was none other then Uchiha Madara after the 4th's speculation before he died. After hearing this, Kagami officially picked up the new alias of Uchiha Madara to hide his existence.

Uchiha Obito, not a very strong character vs the almighty Tobi! But why was Tobi so easily stopped by the coffin? Just as Sasuke loves his older brother, Tobi(Kagami) loves his son to much to fight him, but instead, find a way to save him from Kabuto.





Now here's the conclusion!

Kishi stated in an interview that Tobi/Madara(Kagami) will NOT BE THE MAIN VILLAIN, but rather lead up to the real main villain. Kagami is way to powerful, who could possibly stop him? The answer is Kakashi. Kagami does not know that the sharingan Kakashi has is Obito's. Kakashi will tell Tobi the truth on Obito's death, how it came to be, how he put his life on the line to save Kakashi and the girl he loved, Rin. The confusion could do 1 of two things. It could unlikely stop Tobi's rage against Konoha and he'll leave in peace or help stop Sasuke whom I think will become the main villain. The other option is that the confusion will open up a gap, a timing that Kakashi or someone else needed to stop Tobi once and for all.

This is my belief on the storyline at the moment haha, hope you all understand it!

I don't know if Sasuke will die but who can forgive him anyway after all he had done? (he killed nobody though, but still he had done too many crimes)

The person in the last coffin cannot be Obito Uchiha. There's no way Kabuto would summon back a ninja that was a scardy cat. On top of that Obito was only able to activate and use his eyes once. There's no experience about him using the sharingan. Some people say Tobi is Obito. You're all wrong guys. The Tobi we no will be revealed when Sasuke kills him and take his EMS.

After reading the prediction of Jonesy161 it is a possibility that tobi is Uchiha Kagami, actually i believe what he says. Its very possible. But I'm not sure that its Obito in that coffin, why? I don't know xD. Jonesy, he's a clever boy .

5/5 as always. I loved this chapter and Sasuke's EMS is amazing but I'm not really happy to see him... poor Zetsu! But I'm still hoping Itachi and Sasuke will meet each other again and I really can't wait for Naruto vs Sasuke. Awesome work Kishi.

I don't understand why people didn't like this chapter. I mean it had everything, an awesome (although short) fight, a backstory on the third raikage, another cliffhanger (who was kabuto talking about?) and we got to see sasuke's EMS. a perfect chapter.

btw i think that the reason why Muu was so easily defeated was because he's going to come back. after all kishi is a master of using his panels effectively to tell and introduce important plot lines, so the fact that muu said "watch out"or something like that clearly indicates that Muu will be back and there's going to be a reveal on his abilities and a better fight. And sasuke's ems was drawn like that cause ems's are meant to be a combination of the two ms's that were used t create it.

That's Naruto's clone. Bee is still with the main Naruto. He went back in to Kyuubi Mode when him and Bee parted with Itachi and they are currently heading towards the battlefield.

But when he fought deva path, he turned into a 8 tailed transformation and he lost the last sage clone on mt. myouboku. so isnt it the same concept? when he lost his tine tails chakra, wouldnt clones be gone too? n if so, then why werent there more clones? And because naruto is a distant senjuu, wouldnt he have more endurance? like the third raikage?

actually !!! naruto's chakra was not disturbed, he just exhausted his nine tails mode too much. if you remember back at the pain arc, naruto used up his sage chakra BUT his clones were still there on stand-by; this is the same situation but with his nine tails chakra. to your last question, the uzumaki are known for good endurance and "long life" example: kushina . and naruto is a uzumaki so lets just concider those traits he got from the uzumaki. i dont see the meaning behind your question tho, are you preparing a theory about how naruto can easily rival the third because of the "endurance" , this is a meaningless comparison, naruto being wind element and being fast is good enough

i see your point about that ...but theres nothing special about Muu (plot wise) he has little character background that doesnt even serve the current plot much justice. my only assumtion in exception of him coming back is that he was addressing to the tsushikage to "watch out and not trust the allience becuase they can turn on his village" ; i get this assumtion because muu was on the topic of trusting the other villages and about how he hated the other villages...get it? :shrug: .
main point- i object to your theory about Muu coming back.
Ps, i agree this was a perfect chapter, symbolic and also had both main characters showing off (a lil bit )
