I think the cells are just needed to enhance the Izanagi's intangible time to the most. By what is stated normal Uchihas with 3 tomoe sharingan could do an incomplete one with a lot shorter time.

madara says how that the time limit must have extended when danzo used it and assumed that oro must hav done some experiments on him which was the addition of the senju cells from hashirama. The uchiha's seem to have it as incomplete form.

The wiki is partially wrong here, as it states "The Uchiha, descended from the Sage, are able to perform Izanagi with their Sharingan."

Danzo was not Uchiha, but he was able to steal Sharingans, and he allowed Oro to experiment on him with Harashimas DNA, hence he was able to use a INCOMPLETE Izanagi. A complete Izanagi can only be used if the user has full control over the power of the Senju.

Pain didnt even use his best jutsus, i wish he could used preta path to absorb bees beast ball and rasenshuriken, i dont know if itachis jutsu is absorbable.
Itachis sword of totsuka is epic but spammed. anyway that was the only way nagato can be deafeated, hes just too strong, it took the legendary sealing blade to stop him.
the fact itachi had the very blade is just lucky, nothing more.

do not misunderstand,itachi alone could not destroy chibaku tensei,amateresu have no effect,i doubt if susanoo work against shinra tensei.he just sealed him not DEFEATED nagato.i admit that itachi could aim for 5 second interval,but since nagato would regenerate,so it is waste.
i think, if both were alive,then,nagato(complete) would have taken down itachi (barely,but sure)

i think many thinks that they aimed their best shot for nagato ,but it is wrong,they(three)aimed towards chibaku tensei and it created a massive light which overwhelmed nagato sight and itahi got him with totsuka(surprisingly).

That is why danzo had hashirama's dna implanted in his arm. This jutsu as said my madara requires the power of the six paths. The power of the six paths is both that of the uchiha and of the senju combined. The sage of six paths is both uchiha and senju being that he is their forefather. When he tells konan about it she says he couldn't use it because it requires the powers of the six paths which he didn't have. Who do you believe the wikia that can be edited by anyone or the translation of a translator and Viz the company that puts out both the monthly and weekly shonen jump. Itachi can't use it and if anything since nagato has the power of the six paths he could instead use it.

I don't know why some of the uchiha fans refuse to admit what is in the manga and have to resort for little clues not even as reliable as manga itself.

Itachi did not 'Kill' Nagato, he simply sealed him for all eternity which is probably more worse, but Nagato still did not die.

You're saying that Itachi could 'destroy' konoha, when we haven't even seen the FULL extent of Naruto's powers and if Naruto can some how work as a team with his generation then there is something that can possible stop Itachi.
