i'm just trying to think of how kakashi got his MS since we know he didn't kill his best friend. i know some people say that he got it from obito's death, but if that were the case he would've had it this whole time since it seems to be pretty instantaneous. so kakashi is a very special shinobi and was given a very special gift, in the sharingan of obito. do you think, in the narutoverse, that even though the eye is not in it's original body that it may, some how, be tied to obito if he were living? i know there's a lot of debate as to whether obito lives but let's just assume he is, just for this theory. so if obito lives and if there's still some kind of tied between obito and the eye he gave kakashi then would it be possible that obito killed his "best friend" which gave him MS AND MS in the eye he gave kakashi?

I really have no clue.
I've raked my brain about this numerous times but I can't seen to come up with anything solid.
I think that Kakashi didn't have to kill someone HE truly cared about, but someone OBITO cared about, since it is Obito's eye.
Maybe in the span of time between Naruto and Shippuden, Kakashi found and was forced to kill Rin.
Rin was arguably the most important person to Obito, so if Kakashi killed her, that would give him MS, no?

or at leat got obito killed and the guilt went in his head

Yea, but going on that, he would have had his MS ages ago.
He's pretty much come to terms with Obito's death and the deaths of all his loved ones.
This is shown when he is talking to Sasuke before he defected from Konoha.
He says ''Everyone who's ever been close to me is dead.'' with a smile.
If he was really that guilt stricken, I'm sure he wouldn't be so happy all the time.
That's why I'm thinkin' he MUST have killed Rin, there's no other way..

well when they where gunna go get saskue after the battle of itachi
he did not doit with hand seals

that was my original thought too but after reading many posts on here i thought kakashi couldn't copy bloodline limits. i think this is a fuzzy line. but I am totally willing to go along with what miggy has brought up.

If you could copy MS, even a partial copy, why didn't Sasuke's eye copy Itachi's as well?

is MS a bloodline limit? i dont think so cause kakashi has it. MS you get through killing your friend and all that but its not a bloodline limit at least i dont think do
ok people this is just a guess when itachi fought sasuke. sasuke's sharingan wasnt complete he had two tomoe so maybe he couldnt copy it. and sharingan you cant just see someone and copy there technique the technique have to be used and seeing as how madara and itachi were "friends" he wouldnt use EMS on itachi. this is just a guess people no problem if you disagree.
