Pretty much all of them could take on a tailed beast. Some could even dominate one.

i was gonna agree with u...but the only thing that made me disagree with u is that u did not put sasuke on the strongest 10 list...well infact there should be... naruto\sasuke in second....coz in the end naruto and sasuke will be clashing there butts......and kishi will make it a fair and absolutely levelled fight............
In the end i put sasuke on no. 2 with naruto on the list and rest all i agree with u......

2.Naruto Uzumaki- Surpassed everybody including his dad, it's not just because of the nine tails chakra he's strong too cuz he beat the nine tails himself
3. Minato Namikaze- Whoop Madara ass, and he's fast and smart
4. Bee- Can control his beast
5. Itachi- Need I say more just overall nice
6. Nagato- Was really strong, strong enough to destroy a village on his own
7. Sasuke Uchiha- Don't really like the guy but I gotta give it to him, I still don't think he's stronger than his brother if his brother was ill and was holding back when they fought
8. Kakashi Hatake- Copy cat ninja and has Zabuza's Blade now that's tough
9.Madara- The madara he is now not in the past, have'nt really seen that much from him to already say he's the strongest ninja. Plus he steals people's eyes to get power corny.
10. Gaara- I would go as far to call him the greatest Kazekage in history, but that is just my opinion
