*I start off by activating my 3t sharingan and quickly casting a genjutsu on you, making you see a shadowy figure that will immediatly paralize you making you unable to move and even if you get out of the genjutsu, you will still be a bit paralized since as you remember, when Darui took away the gen from Shi, he still couldn't move properly.*
(Doujutsu: Chuubo no Yuuku) – Eye Technique: Paralyzing Fear

Description: The user will cast a Genjutsu upon the target in which they will see a shadowy figure appear infront of them bearing the Sharingan and then the figure will grow to an enormous size over shadowing the target in pitch-black darkness. The figure will then grab hold of the target and then will cover them in black threads, leaving them paralyzed for a period of time. (This was shown by sasuke against Shi)
Note: Must have tomoe 3 to use and paralyzing effects last 1 turn.

*Immediatly after I use the gen, I quickly throw 4 kunais with wind chakra influenced withing them aimed directly at your vitals and then quickly release a large blast of wind that spreads into hundreds of humming birds that immediatly surround you and attack you from all directions while you are paralyzed*

*Immedaitly after I release the wind, I quickly release a large phoenix of fire from my mouth that comes crashing down on you from above killing you instantly as it powers itself up with some of the birds. Even if you go to long range, the phoenix will follow you since I am controlling it.*

Not only can it cause very hot burns but can give a powerful hit upon contact as well. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it. After it is done, because of the impact, the phoenix explodes into a bunch of blazing ashes all over ground, but the user can explode it whenever it's needed.

since Dojutsu genjutsus require eye contact, and I never looked you in your eyes (basic reaction when fighting an uchiha. As I see the kunais heading my way, I put on my X-gloves, which I then infuse with Katon chakra allowing me to hold the kunais in my hands (2 in each hand) and set them down.
As I see your humming birds also head my way from all directions, I make black crows appear from my body and become fire blasts which over power your birds' power, I also appear from a fire blast immediately. which puts me closer to you but not in short-range.
I have enough time to react to your pheonix, so I fire multiple fire blasts in the form of punches. These not only destroy your pheonix, but they also head towards you with 30 damage left in it.

Not every doujutsu require eye contact. For example, the genjutsu - Utakata that Itachi used was cast by looking at the finger. And this genjutsu doesnt require eye contact as it's not mentioned. And in the manga where did u see shi looking in sasuke's eyes? He didnt but was still caught in the genjutsu. Also this is no way to counter a gen, saying it's a basic reaction but still this gen does not require eye contact, so you are paralyzed and killed. I hate arguing but if you want get someone to check it and I will edit this.

a regular genjutsu is different from a genjutsu casted from a sharingan. And as we saw from the fight with Sasuke and Shi, he DID in fact look sasuke straight in the face. The genjutsu Itachi used was not Sharingan based. And also since I am Kage rank (sage by post) and I HAVE battled many sharingans, of course my first reaction is not to look in their eyes.
