Gray is 1000 times more handsome than Laxus and Natsu (Zero and Ryuji) Yet, Gray's most prominent feature is his spiky black-colored hair. He has black eyes, and his body is toned and very muscular.
After one of his battles with Zero, he gets a scar on his forehead above his left eye that is only partially covered by his hair. He has a tattoo below his collarbone on his right pectoral muscle and dark blue in color.
Gray is also a fashion victim. He spends lots of time in trying to find diferent cloths that would suit him. Gray does not consistently wear the same type of clothes (that is, when he is wearing some), though he is often shown wearing some kind of white coat. Yet, he is so awesome mainly because of his hair-style. Gray has spiky black hair with a blue tint. His hair hangs over both sides of his face to roughly frame his cheeks.
Still, his most consistent piece of clothing is his necklace, which looks like a sword with a stone in it, and a metal bracelet and similar chain attached to his pants.
Personality:
Gray has a laid-back personality, but he will often get serious when the time calls for it. He and Zero have a friendly rivalry, and while they can often be seen fighting one another verbally or physically, they are actually concerned about each other.
Gray was quite obstinate and reckless when he was younger. Over time, he has attained a more cautious attitude towards life, and deals with problems carefully. He is really concerned about his comrades and is truly loyal towards the clan, but tends to trash talk every now and then.
Also, he has a disturbing habit of unconsciously removing his clothes at inappropriate moments. For example - When Jinbei and Mina made out. -_-

History:
Gray was born in Konohagakure when the village was still powerful and not being destroyed by Dan. -_- Gray was living a normal live untill he decided to become a shinobi O.O Well, he and all others from his generation that became shinobi were complete noobs and being laughed by the veterans who tend to throw rocks at the youngsters (yes, Im talking about Goro) Anyways, as every one from this generation, Gray found some nice veterans who were willing to teach him in the arts of ninjutsu. The first one to ever do that was a lazy artist called Dei Dei who had just become a sempai and wanted to torture his students. Yet, Grey couldn't decline the training so he tried to resist the Pain caused by the horrible lightning techniques of his master. After some time, Gray decided to finish this training and go search for another sensei. There, he found Natsu. Natsu was a very calm and cheerful guy who wanted to pass down his knowledge to the next generation. Gray was very happy with this, even though Natsu quite fast understood that Gray had no talant whatsoever. Of course, by the time he was teaching, he signed the Wolverine contract. At the beggining all the wolverines hated him and beat him all the time but Ryuji showed him how to be a man and not to be afraid of the creatures of the night. Time passed and Gray got some experience so he decided to fight. His first victim was pop - a very skilled shinobi with huge intellect and strategy skills. Time passed and Gray decided to do some traveling. One day he met a strange guy whose name was Zero. His first thought was - "Zero? - Oh I see, Zero battle skills, should be easy beating that one". Of course it turned out to be much harder. Both the shinobi fought untill the whole battle ground was destroyed and eventualy Zero lost. Ever since that fight, a very big and friendly rivary began between those 2 shinobis. After that battle, Grey became overconfident so he challanged Itachi-Sama, who back then was a very skilled shinobi. He lost by being hit with a Rasengan but after this fight he became very good friend with Itachi. After that, Gry was trained by many senseis such as: Lili, Riku, Vergil, Perry, Kawagiri, Shigure, Choza, SY and many others whose names I can't remember right now. Soon afterwards he met a guy called Jinbei. Jinbei was a true shinobi, living by a code of loyalty and trust. He and Gray, faced in a battle very soon after they met - well it wasn't much of a battle considering Grew was 1-move-pwnt by the Iwa guy, but due to this fight, a friendship was formed that even nowadays still lasts. Another friendship that was formed in a result of a battle was with Minato. Minato and Grey had a huge battle which resulted into Grey's serious lack of confidence those days. He came up to a guy called Dan who showed him that he should never surrender, never back down, in order to become a great ninja. Of course such an inportant person like Dan, needed a servant. That servant was called Gobi. He was a very good ninja but was to afraid to face against Dan so he was serving him, untill Grey left Dan's group called Akatsuki and joined back to Konoha. This was a wake up call for Gobi so he left and went hiding in Kumogakure where he met Hattori Hanzo, a good shinobi that specializes in spears and weapons. Akisha and Hattori became friends right away but he could feel that he is weak. So, Grey quickly came to realise that he needs some more training. He travelled to Amegakure where he found his mother - Akiza. He couldn't believe that she was his mother and that he originates from both Konoha and Ame. He quickly took advantage and forced her to teach him. After several months of teaching he was quite the skill shinobi, and even though he was taught the Rain Element by Toku, there was still something missing. That missing part of his soul, was filled by Crutch Kaguya who back then was teaching Zero and a guy named Jet or something. Crutch took Grey under his supervision and started giving them a deadly training. The 2 rivals even colapsed several times out of exhaustion. Yet after the training was over they were truly great ninjas. The 2 best friends' paths separated then, untill they met once again in battle of A tournament formed by a rich shinobi named zarakii. Akisha beat the crap out of Zero, leaving him with even less confidence than he had. Of course here we should mention Kaito-Sama and Keotsu - The guys who made Gray love the arts of Taijutsu and Kenjutsu ever since now, even though he was never that good at those things. And now, Gray is living a happy normal life in Konohagakure, learning the arts of Medjutsu by Nexus, a strict but very good teacher who makes every lesson more like science then actual training. One day, he found out that Akisha won the Spar Tournament, killing Zero at the finals, so Lord Nexus was so kind to give Grey a Cursed Seal of Heaven. Nowadays, Grey is teaching the youngsters and sharing with them his knowledge, in order to become great ninjas as his Generation.
