I like him but he is just like the X-men's version of Darkseid. In fact Marvel has several versions of him so I just didn't want to put them in. Thanos is another.
You included magneto, and he has had several versions as well, one of which was Joseph. And Apocalypse is legend, i mean he could make parallel realities and control time, etc.

Magneto has other versions? I thought that was just his real name. By other versions I mean Darkseid came out first in DC universe and Marvel liked the character so they decided to come up with their own version of him.

I hope you are all joking.Favorite villain of all time Lex Luthor? Or Madara? Or Orochimaru? That's ridiculous...

No, he is not. Although he is an interesting character he is definitely not the epitome of a villain! There is no question that the epitome is Aaron the Moor from Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus.

To give you a clue, his final words are, 'If one good deed in all my life I did, / I do repent it from my very Soule.' Amongst other things he convinces Demetrius and Chiron, the sons of the Queen, Tamora, to kill Lavinia’s betrothed, Bassianus, in front of her, just to make her grieve. They do this, then rape her and cut her tongue out and hands off, so she can’t tell. Aaron eats it all up.

Then he frames Titus’s sons for Bassianus’ murder, and lies to Titus, that if one of his family will cut of his hand and send it to the emperor, the emperor will spare his two sons. Titus complies, cutting off his hand, which is returned from the emperor, along with Titus’s sons’ heads anyway. Aaron all along knew this would happen and just did so to get pleasure out of it.

Joker compared to Aaron is no more than a brat.
I agree with Aaron. Titus Andronicus is one of the most cruel and gruesome realistic arts of Shakespeare. My heart literally was broken about Lavinia while reading it. As much as I despise Aaron, I also hated Titus. How he mercilessly breaks Lavinia's neck is a real atrocity. Although, Aaron is evil to the core.

Hm... come again?

About the rest of your questions, which are very interesting indeed:

Since when is acknowledging the roots of things and try to redefine them in contemporary terms -taking into account that they still exist and are subjects of discussion- is called anachronism? What I mean to say is, that the true value of everything comes also from it serving as a reflection or representation of something else. Take art from example. What is art? For me, agreeing with W. Benjamin, art is the only way to reach the truth because art does not pretend to be a reflection of the truth. In the same terms the true value of Joker is that he represents our inner thoughts, the part of ourselves that is linked to violence, or that he reflects the decadence of our society. That's is his value...and being aware of the fact that these questions were posed by others, as back as 2,500 years ago- it shows something about humanity in its core. It shows that we all have to deal with this and it serves as proof and example of how some enlightened people raised these questions and we still have to deal with them.

By all means, everything that will make teenagers stop being in front of the computer has for me literary value. However, this value can be as an anti-paradigm. Take Twilight for example. If i was the mother of a teenage girl I would make her read this just to let her understand why it is so f* wrong to be okay with someone beating you during *** or why it is wrong to always have to chose a protector.
Everything is useful: as long as it makes you understand something about yourself or about the society you live in.
 That was a nice one. Although evilness comes in different forms according to me. That's why the top villains are difficult to judge. They might be cruel, evil, psychopaths, lust-ful of destruction, blood-seeker, corrupted, master-minds. The reality is that these are all villainous forms.

Hannibal Lecter is a great choice!! Why didn't I think of him?
Because you were blinded with Joker.

Satan from Paradise Lost, by John Milton.
Indeed, one of choices again.

looks like she is writing a long essay get ready itachi
You guys are really searching for infractions, it seems :p

Anyways, I have many choices but I cannot really place them in correct order. So they are 10 random favs villains.

1. Pazuzu from The Exorcist
2. Iago from Othello, by William Shakespeare
3. Satan from Paradise Lost, by John Milton
4. Hannibal Lecter from The Silence of the Lambs
5. The Joker from Batman
6. Aaron from Titus Andronicus, by William Shakespeare.
7. Orochimaru from Naruto, by Masashi Kishimoto
8. Voldemort from Harry Potter, by JK Rowling
9. Does the Sharks count? If yes, Sharks from JAWS
10. Claudius from Hamlet, by William Shakespeare

If you read my discussion with Rei you'll know I wasn't blinded by the Joker I just wanted to know why she thought my choices ridiculous and why she didn't accept comics as a serious medium of literature.

I hope I wasn't searching for infractions, I;m just having a discussion about the relevance and worth of different types of literature.

Also sharks do count, they are my number one fear and they are the scariest of all animals ever!!

Not at all true. Read the story about what inspired Apocalypse's creation here:

Just look at the two characters! They look similar, act sort of alike, and both of something to do with Apocalypse. For one it is his name the other rules a planet named that. He is awesome I just didn't want to put him in my list since he is so similar to Darkseid and Darkseid came out first.

Because, sorry if I'll offend you but COMICS ARE NOT A SERIOUS MEDIUM OF LITERATURE. It's mostly for under-aged and for fun and their villains are meant to be funny. The only one that deserves recognition is The Joker from his mannerisms and cruelty but the other like Magneto, Lex Luthor ect...are brilliant villains for kids but not really counted as serious villains for me. It's too far from reality...Same goes for mangas but I put Oro only since his psychopaths mannerisms and creepiness deserve applaud.

Movies and literature (real ones) shows the real emotions of villains effectively. If I had to extend my list of villains, it will surely be consisted of mostly villains from different movies and books but since I've read/seen so many, I can't really think of more.

I understand that you are trying to defend your thoughts but over-harshness against an Admin can breed undesirable consequences.

Still i dont agree. He is a very big deal villain, and has been often rated above magneto in the top 10 comic book villain list. Like over here:
