Naruto, barely won with sage mode, 3 sage modes each lasting 5 mins each.... I'd imagine he would put up one heck of a fight that would be awesome. I do wonder though if pains all mighty push would have destroyed sussano( spelling) ?
I think sasuke would have a fair chance against pain. With full knowledge he might be able to take him down (when naruto faced sasuke he said that he wasn't strong enough to defeat him). And we know for a fact that Sasuke is a better tactician (just look at any of his fights even from when he was a genin).

I think him gaining sage status was also to show us that he had passed or at least was on par at that point with sasuke, as the story line goes they have a huge tug of war with power and abilities

Peinis wins, there's no point even stating evidence, it is predecided, unless Sasuke's new EMS give him unimaginable hax.
I think with full knowledge he would be able get really far, probably as far as Naruto got before the juice was let loose. However I think he wouldn't be able to beat Deva Path. That five second slot is mad tough to hit, and that planet makin' tech (whatever thats called), Sasuke would be screwed... Ohhh and pain wasn't tryuing to kill Naruto, but I don't think the same restriction would apply for Sasuke.
susanno arrows flys very fast i think all he would do is shoot them all. sasuke is a long range fighter he would have a better chance than naruto. ameterasu can ignite them all like nothing. you all might disagree but i think sasuke can beat pain and naruto only won because of the kyubi. he got captured

This far into the series.. Based upon Sasuke's abilities... Nope. He would have to contend with each path... his best best would be to place them all under genjutsu.. but even this is unlikely to catch them all.. any of his chakra abilities.. including susanoo abilities would be absorbed or deflected. Amaterasu is chakra which can also be absorbed.. and thats just one path.. and even at the end of it.. Chibaku tensei would most definitely put him out of commission.
As far as the previous poster comment on Naruto only winning because of the Kyuubi is like Sasuke only won his fights because of the Sharingan.. just doesn't make sense to word it like that. They are one the same thing.. the Sharingan is part of Sasuke and the Kyuubi is part of Naruto.. and both can be removed.. so no point in differentiating from them, especially this far into the manga. If we were to disable Sasuke's sharingan and remove the kyuubi from Naruto.. Naruto would have the fight won.. Most people seem to forgot that Naruto has incredible amounts of his own chakra.. Remember that Yin and Yang chakra must maintain balance.. so Kyuubi's Yang must be balanced to naruto's Yin chakra..

Because a user is born with a kekkei doesn't mean they can use it. (With the exception of the Hyuuga clan as all members are born with the kekkei and can use it) With that being said, both relied on the chance of obtaining their respective special abilities. So yes, in those circumstances I can compare. As both gained something that both could have not gained.

To say it a different way: Rinnegan > Sharingan. That being said, that doesn't necessarily mean someone with the Rinnegan would beat someone with the Sharingan. In this case, I agree with most of the other people in this forum: Pain wins.
Rinnegen is Sharigan+Byakuga+ more not to mention Pain doesn't have a blind spot. Sasuke's tech get absorbed by the Preta path and the Deva path. And on the Sharingan Kuubi subject, Naruto got the Kuubi at birth from his parents he's had it EVERY day of his life just like Sasuke's Sharingan the sharingan is just genetic but as far as time and helpfulness they're the same.
