Sasuke's descent to darkness

I think that before Sasuke could ever consider returning from his descent to darkness that he needs to descend even further by killing an important character that way in the end when he redeems himself to help Naruto, it will be more triumphant.

So, the question is who do you think will fall victim to Sasuke before the series end and in what fashion?

if he does have to kill someone to come back from the darkness think it will be iruka and then when naruto doesnt kill him to get revenge he will be good

neither ebisu nor iruka are jounin btw. Iruka is a chuunin and ebisu is an S-jounin

I voted Kakashi, because asides from Sakura, he's the only one on that list with a close relation to Sasuke.

My first choice would be Kakashi, but I think Sakura would be more likely. She would get in the way of a battle between Sasuke and Naruto with Sasuke accidentally killing her.

This would be a turning point in battle and drive Naruto to almost kill Sasuke. Then Madara would interfere and abandon Sasuke, calling him weak and take his eyes or somehow permanently disable Sasuke.

Sasuke would regret his actions and work harder to redeem himself and help Naruto to stop Madara.

Why would he kill Iruka though? It should be someone who was a little more involved in his life...like Kakashi or Gaara....but I don't want them to die sad face

sasuke is always whinning that naruto doesnt know how he feels because he didnt have a family and iruka is the closest thing to family that he has thats why i think he would be the one to get killed so naruto will know how he feels (he didnt see jiraiya die so he might try to say something about watch people you love die)

I don't think saskue will ever come back in the light (even if he wanted to) if he kills anybody I see in your poll, the leaf (except naruto) simply would not forgive him after such an act. I mean shikamaru, rocklee, kiba, sakura neji and ten ten was planning to take him out anyway.

hardly believes it's gonna happen like this but if he needs to kill someone to redeem itself, then it would go as per below:

he can't killed Gaara or Tsunade... if he killed a kage, everyone would be after him even more, so no redemption...

i don't think that sasuke would get bad dreams over the death of iruka, ebisu, neji or any other characters whom he hardly knew... so no redemption here also...

by elimination, the only persons he would feel guilty for killing would be sakura and kakashi... personally i'd choose kakashi because sasuke never really estimated sakura lol...

New idea: He should kill TenTen. Rid the world of a useless character and he still accomplishes the task of killing someone.

id guess tsunade or another kage, the others don't seem like the kind of back up chars that would be sacrificed for something that big, and kakashi and sakura are too important to die, permantly atleast maybe sasuke kills one but they come back.
