Just as much as you all have the right to glorify Sasuke because of AMATERASU... I also have the same right to /facepalm Sasuke because of AMATERASU.

AMATERASU... it is not special in my eyes. It is not the BE ALL, END ALL of a fight... you can DODGE it (with speed), and you can put it out (with sand) and you can take off your armor and VOILA! done!.

Seriously, itachi, madara, gai, samurai, raikage, gaara's sand jutsu and other jutsu/abilities have been proven to make amaterasu do little or NO damage.

So, rant on, because just as much as you all can say "AMATERASU OMG WTF LULZ PWN" I will say "It sucks."

the bestthing it has ever done was allow Itachi to escape Jiraiya.. everytime it has been used Amaterasu has failed to killed anyone.

Sasuke, Madara, Bee, Karin, Raikage, random Samurai, Gaara, Danzo all have countered, deflect, dodge and/or escaped Amaterasu.

His vision is just how it's aimed he doesn't actually have to see it. He could just aim it at the smokescreen intending for it to move on through.

And asides from that its a Sharingan. A smokescreen wouldn't be all that effective.

But Sasuke would find a way to f it up.

almost minato fast
so oly people that fast can dodge it

well its supposed to but if it really does why wasn't karin, the samurai and raikage melted upon touching it?

and yeah it should be better then how its been used, in theory instantly lighting people on fire that you can't put out should be an IWIN button, but everyone that sasuke and itachi have had to use it on are good enough to have some way to survive like izanagi,super speed,armor to tank the fire long enough for it to be removed.
