Its sad to see players like david villa, wayne rooney, fernando torres, kaka(for some years now) out of shape at the moment, and not like themselves, they really look out of it.. I hope they can gain back their momentum.. What do you guys think?

Well, I agree partially with you and that is only with Torres and Kaka. Both had successive surgeries and much competition in the teams (Drogba and Ozil). In their cases, they'll take some time to come back in form even if I doubt that it will be soon...

As for David Villa, you're harsh with him. He's Barcelona's second best scorer and scored 18 goals in the Liga this season. (3rd overall). It's not his fault that the Liga is dominated by two scoring phenomenons (Messi and CR7). He's doing well but you can't tell him to be on Ronaldo and Messi level...

I agree that, at the start of the season, he was not in really good shape especially after the World Cup tensions, his personal and professional affairs. He barely did anything worthy in the 1st half of the season. Nevertheless, he's among the best players in 2011.
He changed from a real striker to a fantastic play-maker. He is now with 10 goals and 11 assists in the Premier League (i think) - most of which was done in 2011. If he had that form in end-2010, his stats will really have been great. Also, in most of the Manchester's goals, he's implied as at least being the 4th passer or 3rd passer or assister or finisher.
He's devoting his play skills for Hernandez and others to score. The long passes that he does are of best midfield's level. Manchester changed his system after a rough start and decided to play with two playmakers and two wingers and one striker as offensive tactic. Rooney fits more the playmaker's status than the striker's and I agree that this is right. Not scoring goals like last season doesn't mean that he's less in form or less important in Manchester United plays. Not to forget that he scored this year's most awesome goal...

Torres has been horrible since the start of this season. He's had 3-5 good games (scored 2 goals with Liverpool against Chelsea for a win). Next year I believe he will be back to himself and scoring.

Rooney, has been off game but like KingScorp said he's much more of a play maker/striker and give him till next year to he'll probably be scoring much more goals.

As it goes for Villa he is an amazing player and the key for Spain WC run which lead to winning it all at the end as he did score game winners for like 2-3 of the KO games (Messi or Ronaldo have not captured the WC yet). He did start off bad in the start but he is playing a long side with Messi so it's hard for him to always be scoring a lot than you expect. Ronaldo wouldn't score much when Higuain wasn't injuried, but since his injury Ronaldo has been netting them in most time as Benzema was off his game for a few months.

Yes, you both are right. Sadly I dont see Torres being the same again, and neither kaka, which i dont care as I hate madrid. David villa played outstanding in the world cup and was key for the title, yes, but seeing him play in barcelona I know he can put in more, and rooney, yes youre right, I didnt think of it that way, he has been giving lots of good passes. Its just that the amazing campain he did last year with 26 goals or more I bealive(Was he the top goal scorer last year?), comparing this season to the last, we now rooney can give us a lot more..

What's good about Torres is that he sleeps efficiently both on the bench and on the field :D Seriously, he'll be back in form but after quite some time except if he turns out to be like Shevchenko.
Villa will indeed make the net tremble more if he gets the ball. I think he is a bit vexed of no more being the limelight of his team.
Rooney finished close-second scorer in the Premier League last season if I remember correctly due to that injury. Rooney will put more, of course but I'm in love for now with his passes. It's like watching Zidane distributing the game at times. As I told, he is around 15 goals (or more) in all competition this season - most of which (around 11-12) was scored in 2011. If he kept with that form, he'll be around the same scoring stats as last year surely. For now, enjoy his teamwork at excellence and for those awaiting his goals, here's something to compensate it till next season...
