I say that Kishimoto would turn manga upside down if Naruto didnt end up with Sakura. Its the only pairing that had some decent development throughough the series. Naruto had strong romantic feelings for Sakura from the very beginning, and her feeling for him grew gradually to the point where (according to Databook 3) she almost loves him.

I dont regard Hinata as any threat for NaruSaku, not anymore. If Narutos point of view on Hinata didnt changed at all, even after she confessed to him and was ready to die for him, I dont see him falling for her anymore. Of course, there is still some chance for that, but its rather illusive.

I can repead what Algalon said: so should Narutos. Except, it is Naruto who is main character, not Hinata.
